Greater than one weekI installed it myself about 3 weeks ago and it seems to work well so far. It was my first time to do it. The unit did not come with a manual, but I found it online. I bought this model to replace my 15 year-old Honeywell keypad (about to die). A brand new Honeywell keypad, that has never communicated with a control panel before, can be checked or re-addressed at any time by holding down the [1] and [3] keys. Make sure you check your old keypad address by holding down the [1] and [3] keys before replacing it. After installing a new unit, holding down the [1] and [3] keys at the same time, the existing address pops up, which by default will be (31), press [0] [0], youll see the address change to 00, then press your intended address, for example [1] [5]. Youll see the address change to 15, then press *.

> 3 dayStill use this keypad in my master bedroom. I have since replaced all my fixed keypads with LCD keypads. They are much more use when you have a lot of zones.

> 3 dayNice keypad. Makes programming easy and at the very least the one you need to get started.
