> 3 dayCut the alarm power, uninstall old alarm, cut wiring harness off, (new alarm has screw type terminals) install new back plate in same holes, wire in new wires to terminal, terminals are marked (+ power , - power, G=green, Y= yellow) turn on power, takes a minute to power up..that is all...I did not have to reprogram unit to main unit....It took me 15 minutes..Good Luck...

Greater than one weekReplaced my 6150 keypad with the Alpha numeric 6160. I had previous setup another 6160 and 2nd 6160 was up and running perfectly.

> 3 dayWorks great and was able to program my own keyfobs with this thing. I have to replace a keyfob about once a year. I am constantly dropping them and eventually they quit working (battery changes dont help). You can find the fobs here for about $17. Which is about $30 less than what my alarm company wants for one that they program. I also found a bunch of old keyfobs in the system that I was able to remove.

Just me!
Greater than one weekWorks as it should for an alarm system. It is a little difficult to program though. For that I give it 4 stars

> 3 dayGreat replacement for an older 6150 keypad. No additional wiring, just hooked this up in its place.
