Honeywell Security 6160 Ademco Alpha Display Keypad

I use this keypad in our front entrance and it has been working great. It was very easy to setup, User Manual is in the comments below. I would suggest looking at the wiring and what equipment it connects to before purchasing, but all in all it is a solid piece of hardware and will do a great job at the basic home security system functions that a homeowner would need.

I received the 6160 keypad with small hard to see scratchs on the flip down cover, so I replaced it with my flip down cover. This item was easy to install and works great! This was a good buy from a good seller.

This seemed it would had been a great keypad but my old ancient ademco alarm system with the 6128 keypad seems to have a totally different connector with theses “dolphin” connectors to a harness plug and does not use the terminal screws connectors like the 6160 does sadly. So I probably have to return this and try to find a old keypad from ebay

Keypad would not work from the start and Honeywell support sucks do not buy products from Honeywell

This keypad is pretty much plug n play on the ADT safewatch pro 3000 system. Much needed change from the piezo-style keypad. That shrill beeping was terrifying my dogs. This is much much softer and easier on the ears.

Wow. It’s as good a new one. REVb 2019 board. Everything is clean and looks like never used. Works perfectly on my vista 20p system. Received this fast also as promised.

I am using this as a secondary control panel and it is working perfectly.
