Honeywell Security 6160 Ademco Alpha Display Keypad

It was a drop in replacement for my older keypad. The only con is that the chirp is not that loud nor is it changeable.

Wow. It’s as good a new one. REVb 2019 board. Everything is clean and looks like never used. Works perfectly on my vista 20p system. Received this fast also as promised.

Easy of installation and use.

I bought this with a Vista 20p control panel. It doesnt come with any instructions, so youll have to rely entirely on the control panel manual. That being said, it was easy to use. Has a reasonably loud beep, door chime, and is well lit. Its not as full featured as more expensive units, but it does the job really well if you are on a budget. It offers four function buttons and stickers so you can decide their function. The alpha keypad is responsive, and the buttons are easy to press.

I replaced an older Ademco keypad with this one because the keys on the old one had started to be unusable. However, my panel is too old to allow this one to display When I changed the code to 16 it made the keypad inoperable and I quickly had to change it back. It did connect to the old panel and retrieved the same codes so that was a big help. The installation was otherwise easy.
