> 3 dayMy wife loves this shampooer. We have two dogs, one is a puppy and a 4 yr old so accidents are unavoidable. My wife uses this constantly on the rugs and on the furniture to clean up. It does a great job

Greater than one weekLove, love, love this carpet cleaner! Does an outstanding job on my apartment carpets. I even used it on my apartment complex hallway carpet and stairs, which were filthy. Looks like new now! Lightweight, easy to use, easy to clean. Uses very little water and definitely sucks up what is sprayed onto carpet. Carpet dries withi 20 min. Have used it for two years. No issues.

> 3 dayI absolutely love this machine! It’s a powerhouse cleaner. It holds a generous amount of water and it’s simple to use & clean. The multiple rotating scrubber heads really do scrub the carpets cleaner than any other unit I’ve ever used. I adore the rotating scrubbing head attachment for the hose as well bc it cleaned my couches deep down & it even scrubbed off all of the pills that accumulate on the sofas, leaving them looking and smelling fantastic. I have never seen or smelled my carpets & couches this clean, other than when they were new. Thank You!

> 3 dayI couldnt get the water to come out of the 1st one. I returned it and ordered again given the reviews. Much better. I only wish the cord was about 2 feet longer but it is by no means short.

> 3 dayPros: My background.. 2 people, no kids, 8 year old Carpets. Did what it said, removed all stains, dirt and poo and pee. Used Hover deep clean and restore. My case this completed the job with some to spare. 3 bed rooms average size 14x14 and 3 rugs 2-8x10 and 1-5x7. This thing really picked up a lot of dirt! Water was black!! Carpets are clean with no stains this beats paying a company to rip you off (no naming)!!! Cons: Kind of cheap all plastic and you need a philips screwdriver to complete. Had to fill and empty containers about twice per room. Other than that it works!

> 3 dayI once read that the Iranian method of cleaning a good rug was to drag it across a field of freshly-fallen snow. This is not an option in my neck of the woods -- try that, and youre likely to end up with a rug full of hamburger wrappers and dog pee. In the past, Ive (very) occasionally rented and lugged home a Big Green Machine; but after some research, and encountering this Hoover, I did a quick calculation and realized that if I performed the equivalent of five rentals with this, itd pay for itself. It has now done that, and I am impressed by the results. It is important to use it well to be really effective, so Im going to share the method Ive developed. The first thing to note is, its very important to empty the lower, dirty water tank regularly. The machines suction depends on this. So, heres what I do now: 1. Vacuum the rug thoroughly, twice if necessary. 2. With a full tank of hot water and cleaning solution (I do like the Hoover Claws and Paws best, chiefly because its aroma isnt obnoxious), with the dial on the front of the input tank turned to Wash and the trigger pulled, run the machine over the rug. I tend to do it in halves -- top half then bottom, relative to where Im standing, in order to assure myself of sufficient coverage. 3. Remove both tanks (very easy once youve done it once or twice) and replenish the fresh water, and dump and rinse the dirty water tank (if your rugs are anything like mine, the water will be gratifyingly filthy -- filth that is now leaving your house). Replace them on the machine. 4. Turn the dial to Rinse and, with the trigger pulled, do exactly what you did in step 2. This forces water, but no cleaning solution, through the rug -- which will now be pretty damp. 5. Remove, dump, rinse and replace the dirty water tank. 6. This is a step I only realized I could do after a few rugs: With the clean water tank still set to Rinse (just in case you touch the trigger), run the machine over the whole rug *again*, but this time do not pull the trigger. The brushes will not turn, but the machine will be sucking excess water out of the rug, which abbreviates the drying period. 7. When youre done, remove, dump (the water will *still* be astonishingly dirty) and rinse the dirty water tank. 8. Contemplate whether you want to do the whole thing over again, given how grubby the output water still is. Abandon this thought, shelving the idea for later. 9. Put the machine away. 10. I recommend a beer or a glass of wine, but youre welcome to have tea instead, as you look at the renewed colours in your rug... 11. Once the rug is dry, Id recommend running the vacuum cleaner over it one more time, to get the pile in order. The attached photo shows a Gabbeh in my bedroom, which I just cleaned. Two greyhounds walk and sleep on it, in addition to humans and cats, so it was long overdue. You can see the disorder of the pile; it settles down as it dries, but the vacuuming step does help.

> 3 dayWe did the whole house. Big area rugs and a carpet. Dries quickly.
