House of Dark Shadows (DVD)

theres no word to say about this movie BUT-FAR OUT...FOR BING A DAY TIME SHOW,i ran home just to see form the start...(i think the show began at 3:00 pm and i came out from school at 2:50 pm) then when the movie came out OH MY GOD !!!!.

Grew up watching the original show. This is pretty much it -without the limitations of afternoon TV and all the forgotten lines/sets falling over/cardboard tombstones etc. that I was too young and wide-eyed to notice back in the day...

I remember watching Dark Shadows everyday when I was growing up. I saw the House of Dark Shadows in the theater. I enjoyed it then, and I had fun watching it again. If you ever watched Dark Shadows growing up. Youll love the movie.

We all remember seeing this for the first time in the theatres. Now you can see it on Blu Ray high def Got to love it

Four stars for great performances, as always; but I was very disappointed that Barnabas was all villain and not the lovable anti-hero we all know and love. Way more blood and gore than we ever saw on the series. I think the movies may have been what led to its demise. It had a younger audience and when the parents thought it was all like that-- nix on the afternoon soap!
