Vampire classic ,true to the show. This is when vampires were scarey not falling in love lol A nice retro film.

I always rushed off the school bus to watch the series on TV. I never did see the House of Dark Shadows and I thought I would order this DVD and it was a real experience.

For all you fans of Dark Shadows out there, this is the movie to watch. If you like to see Barnabas Collins as a sinister vampire instead of a reluctant vampire youll enjoy yourself very much. I myself was kind of surprised by the ending, me being a big Dark Shadows fan and all. The Collinwood and Old House in this movie put the soap opera versions to shame. It was all filmed on location, and the cheap look of the series is totally non-existent. Youve got to see this movie!

This Movie is great and it is very scary! Dark Shadows the revival has a very similar plot and I cant wait to get this on DVD. This is also on Demand so now I can finally add it to my DVD Movie Library. For those of you who havent seen it, you wont be disappointed. Watch it at night and in the dark! Just in time for a Halloween scare!!!

I think this is actually better than the new movie with Johnny Depp. I have been watching the series on and off on Netflix, and I did not even know this existed until recently. The story is good and it covers the whole Dark Shadows story. It has the real Banabas Collins, so it is a must see, if you are into that stuff. If you are into Dark Shadows, dont tell anyone. Its worse than being a trekkie.
