I love this keyboard. For $50 its a pretty decent buy. Colors are rich and vibrant, aluminum-esque base compliments the white keys. However, the only con to this keyboard is the springs in the switches. When they de-pressurize, you can hear them. Normally with a mechanical keyboard you should only hear the switches themselves, whether theyre clicky, tactile, or linear. In this keyboards case they resemble cherry mx reds, so theyre linear but the sound of the springs give it a bit of a cheaper sound certain keys. Ex. My K keys spring is more pronounced than my D key. Overall, very attractive keyboard for the price. Would recommend for a On budget mech keyboard!

Overall, fantastic value. About a month into using this keyboard right now. Red switches and the white version, PBT pudding keycaps. You should note that the keyboard is usb 2.0. This is almost never an issue, however on my laptop (all ports are usb 3.0) the inputs are interrupted on occasion. Gaming-wise, this means that if you want to stutter step you might run or not move at all. Pretty much ruining the gaming experience. But, the keyboard works just fine on the usb 3.0 ports on my desktop. Strange as it is, its not a driver problem, nor a wire issue. So it likely has to do with the usb 2.0 to 3.0 interaction, which could change based on different versions of usb 3.0. tldr: keyboard is usb 2.0, so there is the potential for compatibility issues. However it could just as easily work perfectly. I would say that for gaming this makes it unplayable, also for productivity it can be a pain(dropped inputs). Otherwise, it works perfectly.

This keyboard is amazing! That is basically all I can say about it. I have had it for a few days, (will update if needed) and I already love it! Typing on it is so comfortible and feels like pillows on your fingers. The actuation force is perfect in my opinion and the clicky clacky sound is so satisfying (especially coming from a quiet membrane keyboard). I didnt really use the number pad at all so this tenkeyless keyboard is really nice for saving space. I got the fully RGB edition for $59.99, and it was definitely worth it! Right when I picked up the box I knew it is very good quality because of the weight. I took it out of the box and it felt really nice to the touch, and seems like it should be atleast $100. It also looks amazing with the RGB leds with all of the awesome different functions and colors. I was just using a membrane keyboard and have never had a mechanical keyboard before, nor have I even felt one. Already, I can tell I am in love with mechanical keyboards, I am typing this review with the keyboard right now and I dont want to stop typing because it feels sooo good! If you are looking for a fairly cheap mechanical keyboard, go with this one! It is definitely worth every penny, plus some. I would recommend if you like having different colored backlighting on your keyboard and have $60 to spend, then go with the RGB edition. I hit FN + end twice and customized the leds to the Seahawks colors. Go hawks! I did free shipping because I wasnt in a rush to get it (even though I wanted it as soon as possible) and it came in just about 7 days/1 week. Im sorry for the length of this review (if you are even reading this anymore please click the helpful button below) and I guess im gonna have to stop typing on this keyboard for now:( Anyway, I very highly recommend this keyboard! Have a good day.

tl;dr: Good for your first mechanical keyboard, but probably not for your second or third. Modding is difficult, but not impossible. Ive had this keyboard (white keycaps, red switches) for 6-7 months now with no technical issues yet. As someone just getting into mechanical keyboards, this one is a pretty safe start! The lighting options on it are nicely varied so theres plenty to explore, I like how its hot-swappable (though removing the switches can be a bit of a nightmare..Some were indeed glued down, and I broke one of the switches during the removal process.), but the sound this thing makes can be a bit of a turn off. I dont deeply mind the little ringing tin sound after keystrokes since my headphones typically block it out, but its still a bit frustrating since the spacebar sounds pretty abysmal. The stabilizers rattle around like CRAZY. Plus the spacebar stabilizer was difficult to remove without taking the keyboard apart? Something was blocking the wire. Im not exactly sure what, but it seemed important to not damage. After getting it out the first time, its become easier.. Still, it was intimidating. Ive so far done the clipping mod and bandaid mod for my stabs + putting foam in the case since it sounds hollow/harsh, still waiting to see if lubing it is the key. Just be ready to mod this thing like crazy for a more rich/less cheap sound. Fun fact! These stabs DO come pre-lubed (or at least mine did), but its very thin. Also getting different keycaps helped with some of the noise! My newer ones are a bit shorter and thicker, so the tinny ringing has reverberated less. Unfortunately, I didnt get a shift keycap that would fit the right shift by the arrow keys- I dont mind too terribly but it would have been nice. The outemu reds sound a bit scratchy? Nothing a little krytox lube wont fix, probably. But a bit of scratchiness isnt too bad for this keyboard. They feel just fine as they are.

I love this keyboard for the most part, easy to use, great size, clack is nice, RBG works, and the modes for the lights are great; however, when using this keyboard Ive found the board dropping key strokes. I know I active the key, but sometimes its just a dead press.

I mainly thought when I would get it would be a minimal keyboard nothing too good because of the price range it was given. When I actually got the keyboard it felt like it was very high quality there was little to no bend or flexibility when trying to do that with the keyboard. The overall build quality is great for its price. I bought the blue keycaps with it they feel and almost act the same as the Corsair Blue keycaps. Honestly, I wasnt expecting much from this keyboard but I was very amazed by all the pros that come with this keyboard. Some downside about it is the RGB settings are all prebuilt, something that would really make this keyboard amazing is if it had a program that allowed you to make custom profiles for the keyboard. I really recommend this keyboard to people who are on budget and are not willing to spend 100+ on the lastest corsair, etc. keyboard.

(You might see my review twice here, because it wouldnt let me review the same keyboard with different switches and classified them both as the same keyboard, but this is my review for the brown switch variant.) So, I was in the market for my first mechanical keyboard, and while I went to Best Buy and tried several different keyboards because I was unfamiliar with all the different factors, such as switches, colors of switches, brands of switches, overall quality and things and they had only a limited supply of what I could try without bringing any home. However, most of the ones that caught my interest were normally at least $100, and I wasn’t willing to invest that much into a keyboard, so I decided to buy 5 highly recommended keyboards. NOTE: I FIGURED THAT I LIKE RED SWITCH, TKLS. They all have their pros and cons, and I decided based on my preferences which one I liked. I read many reviews that helped me decide on my purchase so I want to help anyone else looking to buy keyboards. I am not a hardcore gamer, but I play games casually for a couple hours every night but I tend to type a lot, and will use this keyboard when my laptop is at home with me. These are the boards I bought and tried: E-Element Z-88 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07CMNZRKP/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 (I also bought the brown switch version of this to see if I liked browns or not) DIERYA DK-63 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07FZSDYTZ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 DIERYA DK-61 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07FZSDYTZ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 DREVO Calibur V2 https://www.amazon.com/Bluetooth-Mechanical-Keyboard-Wireless-Programmable/dp/B07ZSC6D6X?ref_=ast_bbp_dp&th=1&psc=1 Presentation 3/5 This keyboard came in a simple cardboard container that opened up nicely and everything was neatly put in with the keyboard in bubble wrap and foam to prevent the keyboard from being damaged. Simple, good enough for what it is. Quality 4/5 You can’t expect a keyboard that’s $50 to compare with one of higher brand name. The keycaps are good and have a nice feel to them when I touch them, and although some of my friends say the keycaps have a litle bit of wobble to them, I don’t find it to be much of a problem with me. I tried it compared to a Razer keyboard and it wasn’t horribly different or anything. The actual board itself is covered on top with a nice metal, but the bottom is made out of a hard plastic. I am fine with that because it reduces the weight of the keyboard and I can move it around easily if needed. This is more of a first world problem, but there is a notable small metallic “clang” of the spring after you hit a key. You might really only notice it if you’re looking for it and if you’re a heavy typer, but I don’t notice this (as much) on higher end keyboards. Outside of the weight and quality of the board on the back, there isn’t too much compromise when you compare this to a higher end board, in my opinion. Mostly the material used on the back. Another minor note which I noticed is that, as I ordered two of the same keyboards (the other one is the brown switch version of this model), I noticed that one of the keyboards’ keycaps had more of a yellowed look, while the other one had a bit of a whiter tone. Your mileage may vary, but that’s just something I noticed. I have a feeling that the switches will yellow over time if you don’t keep your hands clean, so keep that noted if you’re planning to purchase the white version. Typing 3/5 Note that this is still opinionated, and I haven’t tried every switch in the world, but I have tried several different reds, blacks, browns, and blues. These are Outemu browns, and coming from a couple of other Outemu reds (including this model) I immediately disliked the feel of the switches. However, this is purely because of my preference for smoother keys. I tested a brown Alienware switch at Best Buy and there wasn’t much difference – I just don’t like the tactile feel of the keys, without the clicky sound. It These are relatively quiet and typed alright, with that “bump” that brown switch users would be looking. The sound of the browns are more of a “clack clack” compared to the “click” of the blues. The sound primarily comes from the keycap hitting the board and the feel/sound is personally satisfying to me. The keycaps are laid out in a good position, and I’m a bit mroe comfortable now after using it for a couple of days, as I’m coming from a decent gaming laptop’s keyboard. They’re evenly spaced and I don’t make too many frustrating errors out of my control. Features 4/5 I was lured to this board because of it’s compact look and it’s white color. Also RGB. It checked all of those things. The keys are laid out well, it has all of the normal media keys, and the lighting is very good and has a slew of different patterns that are essentially shared with all RGB gaming manufacturers, if you’re into it. You have the ability to change the lighting, speed of the lighting, and it’s brightness. There wasn’t any need for software with this keyboard. The back of it has very good cable management, allowing you to lead the cable out the right, middle, or left of the keyboard depending on your setup – however, the cable itself deducted the point from this category. It’s ugly, bulky, and looks like it’s straight out from te 1990’s, even if it is type C. I’m replacing this cable as soon as possible. This keyboard shipped with a keycap remover that was pretty rudimentary and did the job. It also came with extra brown switches, although there were no spare keycaps. --------------------- I liked everything about this keyboard except for the fact that they were brown switches. Solid choice, and the “Mario” of the keyboards I’ve tested – a jack of all trades, good enough in everything I was looking for in a keyboard without any blaring cons – that is, if you’re into brown switches. I didn’t have experience with brown switches, so I gave this one a chance to try it, and if you’re into brown switches, it’s a fantastic keyboard. I bought and kept this keyboard, but the model that came with red switches. Please look at my other reviews if you’re hunting around (especially for reds). You may like something that I disliked and could deal with some of the other cons that I personally didn’t want to deal with. EDIT: I guess Amazon wont let me post two reviews on the same product page even if I bought seperate ones. I bought the reds as well and this is the keyboard that I kept out of the 5 keyboards I tried. Smooth presses, a bit scratchier than Cherry Reds, which I find satisfying. Otherwise, identical to the brown switch.

    Greater than one week

Its a beautiful keyboard. The white keycaps really work great with the aluminum plate. The lights are bright and looks absolutely mesmerizing at night. I was very happy when I got it because of the aesthetics. However, after using it for the better part of the last couple days, I am considering returning it- and, Ill tell you why. First, it misses keystrokes when typing fast. I am a programmer and sometimes I type hundreds of line of code in a day, so that was an absolute fail for me. Second, the aluminum backplate while pretty has this ping sound because it is hollow inside. Anytime I hit a key, even touch type- it drives me absolutely nuts with the pinging sound. I thought it was because of the keys, but its the plate and unless you put foam inside the case, that cannot be solved. I guess you get what you pay for. This might work great for gaming and such, but definitely doesnt work well for prolonged uses. I am gonna use it probably till the end of week, and if I still dont like it I am gonna return it.

I was very surprised at the quality and overall value for the cash spent. The LEDs are bright, the effects are a lot of fun and you get a really solid experience. I use this over my gaming laptop keyboard as it works pretty solid. I was going to look for a Razor keyboard as they are the new defacto solution for gaming keyboards with LEDs but after using several of their mice and finding that they only would last about a year and crap out? I didnt feel safe spending over 100 bucks for a keyboard that much like their mice wouldnt last. The best part about this keyboard - the micro USB cable is detachable and I can replace it if it gets frayed/damaged. A great keyboard!

Setup: simple on Windows 10. Lights: cool with variety of options. Sound: **** yes I love this keyboard. I got rid of a large keyboard with macro keys and the number pad because I never used them and it was too much work moving from keyboard to mouse. The size is wonderful. Relearning how to find the HOME, END, DEL keys etc. without looking takes a bit of time, but I feel like Ive gained more than Ive lost. The sound and tactile feedback is wonderful. Typing just feels good. I cant quite explain it, but typing now feels like an experience. The lights are cool. There are a lot of options, but I just keep it simple with each row lit up a unique color. Overall great experience.
