> 3 dayToo many annoying and distracting popups wanting user to extend time and advertisements for all of the other products IOLO are trying to sell you. Support said that there was nothing that could be done to eliminate or remove the annoying popups. Definitely not the fastest PC cleanup utility, might be OK if a person has a lot of time and doesnt mind waiting.

Greater than one weekVery unhappy. Thought I was buying a new version of System Mechanic as mine expired 9/21, so thought I would just buy new version. The one I received was from 2013!!! Now I have less features and paid same amount as renewal.

08-06-2025From the day I first received this producing in July 2018, I had problems. Wouldnt load then and still will not load now. I also noticed that the programs files on the disk are all dated in Spril, 2015., Yes 2015. So the files were no good when I purchased it.

> 3 dayInstalling System Mechanic destroyed my computer. It corrupted my registry. It deleted all my Windows 7 restore points. I was unable to access any of my files. Even though IOLO customer service acknowledged their software was responsible for rendering my computer useless, they claimed they have a clause in their license agreement that holds them harmless for any damage caused by their software. They refused to pay the $120 it cost me to have Tiger Direct format my hard drives. All my files were lost. I had two mirrored hard drives mirrored with RAID 1. Both drives were rendered useless.

Greater than one weekI ordered this product and once installed it required a license key that should have come with the product and it did not. I then had to download a license key that statement it was good for only 30 days. The advertisement if this product does not state that... my review for this product is a about a 1 for it stinks! Never will I recommend this product to anyone...in fact I would like a refund!!

Greater than one weekI like setting up system mechanic Pro to run by itself because I really do not have the time to try and take care of what system mechanic is designed to do. I have been using system mechanic for several years now and I am very satisfied and confident with this product. Although any time you make changes to your system you should always check system mechanic for any reviews. I recommend system mechanic Pro to novice or advanced PC users. I believe at any level of PC user you can feel confident that system mechanic Pro does what it says it will do. Thank you

> 3 dayI have been using SM professional for more than 3 years now, and pc performance was generally acceptable and average (not superb). I noticed in the last year and just recently, the updates always included a Trojan spyware which fortunately was captured and quarantined by my other security software. I reported these events to the customer technical support, and even submitted the filename of the malware for their evaluation. Its nearly a week and I never got a response (same thing in the past). This same thing happened consistently in all of my 3 other home computers. I finally decided to remove/uninstall the SM software in all other home comuters and ran a thorough scan to make sure there were no traces of malware left. To would be customers - buy this product at your own risk. I will never use SM again. My computers now are running even faster than before I had SM professional.

> 3 dayUpdates required activation code re entry. Renewal process messed up my computer. Followed instructions and the program never opened and could not be deleted. Contacted tech support number and it is a wierd 1970s sounding recording with old music. Got put on hold for a long time and tech came on, but phone connection was full of static and fragments. Could not communicate due to breaks in line. Sounded like a 2-way radio connection. Tried on line ticket and got no response on it. Searched and found information about many others with similar problems. Restored my computer to previous point in time to get the program off of my computer. Seems like product is kind of homeade and company is far away in China possibly, or India. Their web site has a big warning about imposters stealing info and calling people who have purchased the product to steal and defraud people. There may be undisclosed breaches of customer data. Otherwise, the product did work for me for quite awhile without much problems. The renewal process is what messed it up.
