iolo - System Mechanic Pro, Computer Cleaner for Windows, Blocks Viruses and Spyware, Restores System Speed, Software License

I have used this for 5 years. I bought it initially to clean up my desktop. It worked well and had kept it running well during that time.

Seems to be a good program that works on multiple computers - But sometimes request the CD ? I havent figured out why, yet. I tried installing norton anti-Virus with this .....havent figured how, yet.

I trust this software. I use the quick/long Analysis, Individual Tools, Drive Accelerator, Memory Mechanic, Total Registry Revitalizer, and Program Accelerator the most.

My mom has a super slow computer. I decided to buy this for her as an early Christmas gift. I tried helping her put this on her computer. That part was easy. It didn’t help speed up the computer which defeats the whole purpose of this product. I was disappointed.

Very bad program when it removes files you need. Cant even pull up some web sites that I have been using for a long time.

Their customer service is terrible. I was on the phone going through their phone menu and being put on hold for over an hour when I finally get through, I am told to call during their regular business hours, even though they claim their customer service is 24/7.

Needs to be updated to get the most recent version.

Dont buy it, it deletes all of your windows system restore points. You cannot undo the damage. Why anyone would sell a product that deletes restore points is beyond me.

Wish Id looked here before installing System Mechanic. Dell gave this to me as part of a maintenance contract. Well you get what you pay for, or actually worse, in this case. After installing System Mechanic, I let it clean up my computer. When I rebooted all of my printers were gone. This software is for more dangerous for your computer than anything it claims to fix! Luckily I had a system restore point to go back to.
