iolo - System Mechanic Pro, Computer Cleaner for Windows, Blocks Viruses and Spyware, Restores System Speed, Software License

I have used this software before and what I discovered is that it will make a computer with a defective HD crash. HP laptops tend to have defective HD and noticed that on my good laptop it ran fine, worked great, but on my HP laptop it would crash when running this software. It turned out to be a defective HD and thankfully it was under extended warranty.

I have no idea what the people are doing that have left negative reviews. I have been using System Mechanic for at least 4 years now with no problems. It has in fact SAVED my when my computer unexpectedly crashed. I have also used it multiple operating systems (Windows 7,8 and Vista) with no problem. I always let it automatically fix the problems, and have never had a problem. I am moderately tech savvy, but by no means an expert and am able to easily maneuver the program. My workplace also uses this on all the computers which is how I first found it, and they have full confidence in it.

The web site said there would be a CD, well no CD inside and I don not like downloading products. Bad experience with orders on Amazon lately more money for prime and bad delivery on items.

Hard to use on damaged PC.

I trust this software. I use the quick/long Analysis, Individual Tools, Drive Accelerator, Memory Mechanic, Total Registry Revitalizer, and Program Accelerator the most.

First off.. ATTENTION ALL WHO ARE NOT VERY TECH SAVVY.. IF YOU BUY THIS PRODUCT IT HAS ITS OWN VIRUS PROTECTION AND FIREWALL.. YOU MUST DO A CUSTOM INSTALL AND UN-CLICK THE VIRUS/FIREWALL SO IT DOES NOT INSTALL.. IF YOU INSTALL THEM IT MAY CONFLICT WITH YOUR CURRENT VIRUS/FIREWALL SOFTWARE!! To me all the complainers on here that said it caused their computers to freeze or not work is primarily due to the reason I just stated. I have had no issues with this product, it works awesome. It is way better than the product I had before this, and keeps my computer running at peak performance always. It has a lot of bells and whistles so take the time to open all the tabs and set it up the way you want so you get the full benefit out of it and you will be as happy as I am with it. Also, the price is very low for the quality and the best part is when you register the product with IOLO it will immediately update this to its most recent release (version 12) at no extra charge.. A version I might add that the company sells on their website for $60, almost 2x the price you pay here.. Highly recommended!!

Ive used this product almost since the first version. Back then it was the best of a few available all in one programs. It was relatively easy to use and gave some positive feedback after a task was completed. However, in the past few years it has gotten to be slow, bloated, and desperately monetized. Initially, it was just the constant attempt to get me to buy more time. Then it was the constant barrage of spam trying to get me to upgrade and buy more time. Then features that had been included stopped being included. One example is the duplicate file finder which never worked properly (which is probably why it was dropped); another is the driver monitor and downloader--which also never worked right. Now they are pushing to upgrade to their Ultimate Defense.

I purchased the product, because it was designed for Windows 10. It also offered a free POWERDESK, a $40 value. The latter was essential for managing files.

I like it very much. Runs in the background unnoticed.
