    Greater than one week

I’ll start off with saying I like the chew ability of this vitamin, I have been taking meds my whole life and constantly get pills stuck thank god no need for that anymore. I do find that they lack that lemon zing you would look for, heck I couldn’t detect lemon at all.

B12 supplements really work. More than doubled my B12 level, and energy level is great all day. Only negative to this brand is that its described as a lozenge. Lozenges dissolve. This doesnt dissolve--it would take 30 minutes for this to dissolve. Chewable is a better description. But it still works.

I went to the dr and was told I’m anemic and my b12 was remarkably low. I tried these sublinguals, which are very chalky, and I have no idea if I feel any different. I feel like they don’t absorb very well, because of how chalky they are. I will try another product just to compare. But from what I understand, your body can only absorb so much at once and 1000 is way above that threshold. I do feel like I have a million days worth of lozenges

Awesome. I spent my entire life battling social anxiety disorder. I hate all the meds on the market and especially their side effects. After taking a product called True Calm by now foods; I realized my anxiety disorder was caused by my b-6 and b-12 deficiencies. It sucks to have suffered all these years; spent all that money on doctors, shrinks and meds; only to learn all I needed was some very cheap B-vitamins. At 38 I finally have a normal life. Shame on the medical community; they always knew this but they cant patent vitamins and make money off them so they dont tell you how helpful they are. They make money by keeping us sick. Back on topic, be careful not to get the B-12 vitamins that contain cyanide(cyanocobalamin).

After eating a vegan diet for 3 years, I started having serious problems with fatigue. A blood test revealed low B-12 levels. The doctor recommended monthly B-12 shots, but the bright red dye in the injections freaked me out (what IS that stuff?) and I didnt want the inconvenience of needing to go get shots, so I started taking the Jarrow Methyl B-12. My fatigue disappeared rapidly and my B-12 levels normalized. There is scientific research that shows B-12 absorption is not effected by whether you chew the tablets or dissolve them sublingually, so I chew them. Methyl B-12 is the best form to take as it is more bioavailable, and the more commonly found cyanocobalamin form of B-12 leaves trace amounts of cyanide in the body. Who needs that?! A highly regarded nutrition researcher and lecturer recommended the Jarrow brand to me and Im very happy with the product.

I took the first lemon flavored 500 mcg tablet today. It only took about 15 minutes to melt under my tongue. I have high hopes for this product... Hopefully it will work for me. The size of the tablet was not bad, a little larger than a pencil eraser. From some of the other reviews I thought it was going to be huge. Its not. I am giving it a 5 to start out, because of the size of the tablet, ease in melting, and packaging. I will update after I have taken it longer. I am looking forward to having more energy, sleeping better and building stronger bones! I am 68 and I am feeling my age. I am hoping this product helps me get some energy back.

I was not able to taste foods for months. And hot (spicy) foods were painful to eat, as well as very cold foods. No doctor knew (or cared) what to do for me. I was researching vitamin deficiencies one evening, and ran into the Jarrow B-12s. Read that a deficiency in B-12 could mess with tasting food. So, I gave the B-12s a try. In only a few weeks, taking 3 a day, my sense of taste returned, and pain when eating hot, spicy and cold foods subsided. I now take Jarrow regularly.

I received it quickly and it’s a great product. The only exception is that I ordered the lozenges and received chewable tables. The lozenges absorb better and are not as hard on your liver/kidneys/gut. But I will definitely order from them again.

I take this B-12 supplement a few times a week. I am a semi vegetarian and was told to supplement with B-12. I do feel an energy boost from it but not a jitter kind of energy, more like a I wanna go do something kind of energy. My husband also takes this and has said the same thing. A gentle energy boost. No negative side effects at all from either of us. We are both productive during the day and we both sleep great at night. If this review has helped you at all please let me know. Thanks!

I had a B12 deficiency and was looking to increase my intake. I started doing research, and this type of B12 is supposed to be the most readily absorbed. B12 is water soluble, so I am concerned about getting the increased intake that I lack and need (I am a pescetarian and do not eat meat, except fish and seafood, infrequently). It is chewable/sublingual and has a decent taste. It is the most cost effective I have seen of this type of B12 (Methyl B12). I recommend! :)
