I am on my 4th tester and get the same results with every one. It only works for 1 day and never again. Tested the battery, replaced the battery same results. Claims it has a built in on/off switch who really knows. The battery strenght is new but this tester is not worth the time, money and effort.

I had bought another one on Amazon before that broke. This one is a little heavier and bigger. This will even gone through some splitters if needed

Super easy to use. Used it to identify coax going to living room tv. From there was able to install amplifier for tv signal.

I’ve always had one of these since I’m all around Tech and when toning or troubleshooting a single line this makes your life a lot easier. But I just got one on August 20th and it’s already broken. I’m guessing most likely the speaker but it didn’t even make it to three months. He’ll it didn’t even give me a chance to loose it, which is what happened to my previous ones. Just sucks that it didn’t even lasted at all. But good tool to have.

Needed a way to test my spaghetti mess of wires to know what wires go to what room. This tool does that job very well and it feels heavy duty too.
