This signal generator is everything I hoped it would be: easy to use, easy instructions, great size. Basically it does what it is supposed to do and it does it well.

Easy to use. Excelent value. Found coax in less than a minute. You will coax cable to connect tester to wall plate.

This work well for all types of cable with the proper adapters. So are I have used on RG6, RG8, RG58 and LMR 400. Not as good as a VNA but sure is a heck of lot cheaper and gives you immediate feedback on whether the cable and connectors are good or not do you dont waster your time. If you are handy you could probably make one of these for yourself but the packaging is beautiful.

Buy and old house and scour the house for cable wires. Well if you buy this godsend you can located the crappy wire and finally watch some high def house renovation show to make you even more depressed about the crap house you just bought.

We have a moderately sized home with coaxial cables in most of the rooms. The cables all feed to the attic- this continuity tester worked really well to figure out which coaxial cables in the attic went to which room.

Units on off switch is intermittent, because of this malfunction the unit cant be relied upon to send a constant signal when you attempt to identify cable runs.
