Awesome tool.... works great and super easy to use!

Very good toner, much better than the ones that my distributor carries. The quality and feel of this is superior to other comparable coax toners. Another great feature is that this one uses a common AAA battery whereas most toners use a 12v A23 battery. I also noticed that the tone is much louder with this one than others I have used in the past.

Ive had this thing for awhile but never used it. Today this thing saved me a lot of time and headache. I had just finished running a coax line from the attic to the living room. I connected it to a F-Type keystone coupler and short home made coax cable. When I connected everything and turned on the FiOS box nothing but a blank screen. I couldnt figure out if it was from the new drop or the little short cable connected to the box.

With too much power on the line the sound pulses and makes me think there is bad equipment

Only worked for one day then stoped

I’ve always had one of these since I’m all around Tech and when toning or troubleshooting a single line this makes your life a lot easier. But I just got one on August 20th and it’s already broken. I’m guessing most likely the speaker but it didn’t even make it to three months. He’ll it didn’t even give me a chance to loose it, which is what happened to my previous ones. Just sucks that it didn’t even lasted at all. But good tool to have.
