Item arrived defective. Tested on multiple cable wires. Could not get a sound. Could not get any lights. Tested on wires that are known to work and nothing. Tried multiple batteries. Directions are next to useless and I am a pretty handy guy. Ill buy a better brand next time. Sending it back.

Works as advertised. Been using it a couple months now. Speaker isnt as loud as it used to be, but that happens to all of the crack pipe toners. Fancy digital toners are nice, but way too many problems compared to this style.

Very good toner, much better than the ones that my distributor carries. The quality and feel of this is superior to other comparable coax toners. Another great feature is that this one uses a common AAA battery whereas most toners use a 12v A23 battery. I also noticed that the tone is much louder with this one than others I have used in the past.

This product works great. I was able to trace all of my wall outlets to the proper coaxial cable. Now each room of my house has a wall plug that is connected to my outdoor TV antenna. No more coax running across rooms. Amazon shipped this product very fast. Thanks. If you are trying to trace coax cables or check how well a cable works, this is the product for you.
