Very nice, magnets are easily removed if you dont want them. Some people might not want magnets in it for fear it might magnetize the watch components. They come out from the back, just make a small cut on the bottom under each magnet and pull them out. i would buy again.

Right size for the work I do but I really dont like using it because after two months it still stinks. Its also a dust, hair and packaging bits static magnet. It really seems to get static charged from just being moved around and needs a good wash once in awhile to both keep it dust free from its constant static charge buildup and to tame the stench of it. Ive been told it smells like a couple of used diapers in a diaper bag but I think it smells more like a fridge with some bad food on a hot summer day. Either way, yuck!

Does the job. What can I say? Got some hot solder on and it flakes right off. Only complaint is that the 3 compartment lids are pretty useless. They don’t stay closed, especially if you have to move the mat at all.

Mat is very sturdy and has a nice grip to the surface. The three storage compartments flaps look like hard plastic in photo and they are made of same material as mat but they still close. I recommend this to anyone looking to do repairs!

Heavy and thick enough to stay flat in place for soldering works and general electronics repairs. Tiny pockets arent that useful for my works but the larger pockets are more practical and much easier to place and remove parts.

I’ve owned a few silicone mats throughout my hobby-ing career, and this one is by far my favorite. It has all of the features I need, and stays put when in use on the table.

Mat has found a home on my bernch. Compact size ideal for small job and crowded bench. An asset to the work area.
