I like it. It does the job it is supposed to do. Its large and the compartments and magnets work well. I put a hot soldering iron directly into the material to see if it would burn and it didnt. Any leftover melted solder is easy to remove. Great product for the price.

i see where other reviews have said the compartment lids will rip off at the hinge in no time. they will still pop into place and be able to close the compartment, but they will not stay attached for long with any sort of use. so one star off for that. other than that i am happy with this. saves the veneer on my cheap desk, has lots of places to put little screws. a nice handy (metric) ruler on the bottom. and while i bought a self healing cutting mat, i find myself cutting on this too, and it seems to hold up to an exato knife pretty well..

I like it. It would be nice if it had enough conductivity to drain electro-static charge. It isnt perfect but it is quite good. At first I wasnt sure about the cavities for part storage but they are can be useful.

This has to be one of the best soldering / electronics work mats Ive owned. Excellent heat resistance, super easy to clean up solder blobs and spills as well. Perfect sections (numbered) for screw order placement after removing them, so you can remember the order easily. For the price I recommend this hands down, I will be ordering more for other workstations! Bottom line? Buy it, you wont regret it.
