Update: Tried now for weeks to work out the deformed areas caused from the mat being rolled up during shipping, with no luck. I never did get contacted back from the shipper. I would really like the mat if it would lay down flat, but its just not going to happen. Havent even used it, and probably never will. Original Review. This mat was shipped rolled up pretty tightly, and it was properly deformed when it arrived. Ive tried everything to fix the deformities, but nothing seems to work. Overall the quality is good, but because the shipping was so bad, Ill consider returning it. I tried looking for a way to rate just the shipping and not the product...but I couldnt find that option on the order for some reason. Bad shipping can be a waste of a good product and thus waste of everyones time/money.

Such a great mat. All the little compartments for parts/pieces work great. Good grip and easy to clean.

I use the to solder and work on small electronics. I really like this mat. I have even touched the soldering iron on full high heat and nothing melted and you can’t tell where I touched it at. Highly recommended and needed purchased for solder work.

Good product, excellent value for the money

This mat is awesome. Little indentations for holding small parts work well. The mat so far has been impervious to solder splatter. I just wish I got the next size up.

Used this while I was reworking the BIOS chip on my motherboard. Worked perfectly, didnt slip on the table, lots of compartments to keep screw and small components organized, even spilled some melted solder on the mad...not an issue! Came off like nothing happed. Good quality silicone.

To be honest, I haven’t used the mat yet. But one thing for certain, the price is what drew me in. Some of these mats go for a much higher price and don’t have all the compartments, magnetic holders and built in tool holders! I use the mat for rebuilding and work on my airsoft guns and rifles.

Love it! Didn’t even realize there was a magnet! Makes my phone, controller, and console repairs so much easier with the workspace, spots for screws/parts, even screw drivers and precision pic, or removal tools! Will recommend for sure!

The only negitive i have is that it is just a bit too small, still very functional, but I would prefer it to be scaled up about 20-30%. Outside of that it works well takes the heat and is easy to clean and has lots of places for tidbits while working on electronics. Its as well made as a silicone can be and is a nice addition to my work bench

It is really useful and it feels safe. The lides does not keep closed, the magnets are strong and keep the screws on the surface
