Just tried it today, and man oh man does it make a difference when working on RC Cars. Magnets held the screws great, nice study mat that didn’t slide around. Very nice quality, and really like the color.

This product is great my only issue is it doesn’t stand up to heat well once he is applied it warps when heat is applied But it goes back to normal once it cools, If you’re not using something like a heat gun when using this I tell me you should be fine

i see where other reviews have said the compartment lids will rip off at the hinge in no time. they will still pop into place and be able to close the compartment, but they will not stay attached for long with any sort of use. so one star off for that. other than that i am happy with this. saves the veneer on my cheap desk, has lots of places to put little screws. a nice handy (metric) ruler on the bottom. and while i bought a self healing cutting mat, i find myself cutting on this too, and it seems to hold up to an exato knife pretty well..

This thing was probably one of the best things I have bought, it has everything I could possibly need and feels incredibly high quality for the price, heavily recommend for any enthusiast.

Mat is very sturdy and has a nice grip to the surface. The three storage compartments flaps look like hard plastic in photo and they are made of same material as mat but they still close. I recommend this to anyone looking to do repairs!
