I love this mat. Its got lots of little spaces for placing screws and components and can take the heat of the iron. At first I thought it was scorching and discoloring, but after wiping it down with isopropyl, I noticed it was just flux. It looked good as new afterward.

Very well made. It did the job for what I needed it for. Fixing my iPhone.

The heat resistant pad turned out to be better than I thought. The size was just right and it has areas to keep your pieces as you disassemble small electronics. All in all I would highly recommend for the price.

Nice thick silicone material. Im using it in my soldering setup right now. I actually had a problem initially - the first one of these I got came damaged, with the middle part cover separate in the package. I reported this and it was replaced promptly. The new one is great. So Im happy with the mat and with the support both. The little part areas are really helpful in keeping parts from escaping. Im not sure if its easy to see on the product pictures, but they are deep enough to use for temporarily holding screws and components but not so deep that its hard to retrieve them. Amazons Rate features categories appear to be experiencing some distress - Im not sure how to rate the Warmth of this pad as it contains no heating elements. So if this review doesnt come out 5 stars as intended, its only because I didnt want to rate a feature that seemed inapplicable to the product.

I *love* this mat, primarily because it makes organization a snap! I can sort all of the various screws, fasteners, etc., into separate compartments during disassembly, making reassembly *much* easier and faster. Yaya! Great quality material. No complaints.
