> 24 hourNever thought Id have anything to say about a portable toilet seat but this proved to be incredibly valuable. First of all, the build is sturdy and the plastic arms were long enough to accommodate any toilet weve encountered. We used it at home for a while until our kid was comfortable (and grown) enough to sit on the toilet without it. The arms fold in under the seat, making it easy to toss into a plastic bag and tote around. Good toilet seat adapter for a good price. Its real value, however, didnt become apparent until we started taking our kid camping and on long road trips. As mentioned before, this seat is very portable, but fit one of these with an appropriately sized plastic bag (I believe it comes with a few bags but we ended up using the kind you get from grocery stores at check-out.. that is if they havent yet been banned where you live) and you have yourself an instant porta-potty (check for holes in bag first, of course) .. just as advertised. The legs extend down just enough so theres ample room for the bag to accommodate whatever a reasonably-sized child should be able to produce in one sitting. Once done, just remove the bag, tie it up, and toss away. On one particularly long road trip it was raining hard outside and there were no toilets/rest stops for miles in either direction so we set it up and our child was able to use it in the back seat of our car. Of course your mileage may vary on this one .. Our child has long since outgrown this but Id still recommend this to any parent with a small child ..

> 24 hourI wanted to love this potty. I read all of the reviews and was so impressed by how many people raved about it. I think it would work great for a young two year old. However, I bought this when my son had just turned three. My son is very slim at only 50th percentile for weight yet he complains that the potty is too small and uncomfortable to use. He also complains that it is too low to the ground and he feels like he will fall off of it. So, this travel potty is going in storage until my daughter turns two, when I will try it out on her. I do like the design of the potty. It is very compact and folds up nicely to fit in a diaper bag for easy travel. I did find the legs to be a bit tricky to get to pop out (to set up the seat for use) and back in (for storage). I havent used the potty that much though so maybe with increased use I will get better at popping the legs of the potty in and out. I also have to pass on a trick that has worked well for us when we are away from a toilet with my 3 year old son. If you take a large sized zip loc bag and let him pee in there it works rather well. You just seal it up or pour it out and dispose of it. Obviously, this only works well 1) for a boy and 2) for peeing only. So, in sum, because it is so small and low to the ground be mindful of this if you are buying it for a 3 year old or for a larger sized two year old. And even if your child fits on the seat, if they are used to sitting higher up on other potty chairs, such as the bjorn potty, they may feel awkward or like they are going to fall off when they sit on this low to the ground seat and they may refuse to use it. From my experience with this travel potty thus far, I probably wouldnt buy it again, but since I have it I am going to hang onto it and give it another try when my daughter turns two.

> 24 hourWhat a great portable potty! We are still in the process of potty training and this is an invaluable tool! I love how it can easily transport (even comes with a bag to carry it in) and how the potty bags have an absorbent bottom to them. Makes for easier clean up on the go! The potty legs also flatten out do you are able to place it on a toilet if you are out (I also love to use the disposable potty shields ... Sold seperately) The cons: Only comes with a few disposable bags (more are available for purchase) and it is a little short for my tall trainee. Other than that, awesome product and I highly recommend!

> 24 hourI use this a lot more than I thought I would! My daughter was scared of the big loud potty in stores. This helped ease her into using public potties. She felt more secure and it only took a handful of times using it to make her comfortable. However, I continued to use it because I felt better having her put her hands down on this instead of the nasty public seat. I kept a travel pack of disinfectant wipes in the travel bag and wiped it down each time. Now it stays in the trunk for roadside emergencies. We have used it at parks with no restrooms and once or twice on the side of the road.

> 24 hourTrying to potty train twin toddler girls, Ill take any help I can get. And this travel training seat has been JUST what Ive been looking for! Nothing is more frustrating than feeling tethered to your house because your just-starting-to-get-this-potty-thing down toddler is terrified of big people potties. Multiplied by two. This seat has been just the ticket. It is small - easily stored in a small diaper bag or even a large-ish purse. It fits easily on a large toilet seat without the risk of collapse - which Ive found to be a problem with some of the other collapsible portable seats. But maybe the BEST thing about this seat is that it gives you options - are you in a public restroom? We got ya covered. Are you out on a road with no restroom in sight? Same seat - still works! Do you have one child who wants to sit up on the big potty? Yup, I got that for ya. Do you have another child who is scared of the big potty and wants her little potty? Bam - here ya go! The seat can be used on a large toilet, provides safe and clean places for little ones to put their hands while using it. The seat can also be set up as a stand-alone potty chair - use it in the car, on the floor, anywhere! It comes with liners that can be used with it - or Ive even used it with just a regular plastic grocery bag and a pull up put in the bottom for absorption. This seat also comes in a variety of colors and is very, very affordable. I am so happy with this product, I could bust! And I bet you will be too!

> 24 hourI didnt really buy this as a travel potty, although I did buy some of the bag refills so I can take this to the park for emergencies. I bought this to use on public restroom toilets. Does fit in my small diaper bag, but is a tight fit with diapers inside (have a younger child still in diapers). Would fit easily if I didnt have to carry diapers for the other little one. Better to carry in medium or large diaper bag. Does come in its own plastic carry bag if you dont want to put in a diaper bag. So far it has fit fine on all public toilets weve used. I love the fact that my toddler can now hold onto the feet of this potty chair instead of the sides of the public toilet. Being that it is made for travel and to be compact it is small in the fact that if you have a little boy, you need to teach him to keep his legs together when sitting on this on a public toilet (if hes not peeing standing up yet). Overall, I like having this for sanitary purposes and for park emergencies.

> 24 hourWhen I first got this, I was beyond happy. After using it for a few weeks, I am quite disappointed. First for the toilet topper part: At first, I didnt realize how flimsy it actually was. After using it a handful of times, I noticed it dipped inward quite a bit when my son was on it (hes 25 lbs). I also began to notice that it slid and/or bent on most toilet seats. The last straw happened when my son barely shifted on it the other day and it flew off the toilet. My son landed right in my arms, thankfully. This thing slides so easily and is so flimsy that the child cant really move at all while on it. Needless to say, we wont be using it anymore. As for the potty chair feature: It might work fine as an emergency potty to keep in the car, however, my son will sit on it but has never actually gone in it. The child has to sit on the plastic bag which is weird feeling to them/distracting. I guess Ill keep in it my car and hopefully he will go on it if we have a true potty emergency and no other options. UPDATE: I bought the Potette reusable liner and my son loves this potty chair with that attached! We use the potty chair feature whenever we are on the go now. Its even sturdy enough to sit on the seat of our sedan which is great in the winter. Furthermore: I tried this as a toilet topper again (hesitantly) with the reusable liner attached. The liner actually makes it feel a bit more sturdy/comfortable and it keeps it in place better on the toilet. YAY!! And it still folds up and fits in the bag with the reusable liner attached. I still love how compact and portable it is. The reusable liner saved the Potette for us!!

> 24 hourI have a petite daughter who I potty trained at 22 months. She was too tiny to balance on the seat of the toilet, but with this, she was fine. Also, she puts on her hands on this to steady herself instead of on the toilet seat, which is especially nice in public restrooms. It folds down enough that someone with a big purse could carry it around - I dont, but when my mother-in-law took my daughter on vacation, she used it that way, and found it very useful. I rarely use it with a plastic bag, only when were, say, on a boat without a bathroom. However, you DONT need the special bags for that - any shopping bag without holes in it will be fine, and nursing pads or maxi pads to absorb do the trick.

> 24 hourWe’ve used this potty when out of the house and for traveling. It’s so small and lightweight it’s perfect for carrying in a diaper bag or backpack. It has fit onto every potty we’ve set it on. The key is setting it far enough back on the toilet seat. It even works well on airplanes. It’s easy to wipe down after and the plastic bag it comes in is nice to keep it separate from other items in your bag. We’ve never had a need to use it as a stand alone seat but I could see how it would work well. If you use this with a boy or girl, it works great just make sure the potty seat is set back on the toilet seat and your child is sitting back as well. The guard in the front makes the pee go straight down into the toilet and if the pee happens to go over the front of the guard it won’t matter because it still all goes into the toilet!

> 24 hourwe are about a week into potty training and so far this is my sons preferred potty seat. we also have a little frog potty and a seat that sits on a regular toilet, but I guess this is the one he finds most comfortable. I bought the reusable liner and I definitely recommend it if you plan on using this seat as more than just a travel toilet. Cons: I havent tried using this as a travel option yet. It seems like it would be kind of difficult at first, as it takes a minute to set up, too long for a newly trained child in my opinion. Im not thrilled with it as a seat on a regular toilet. My son kind of sinks into it and the hard plastic leaves red marks. Also, it doesnt work with a potty hook and we only have one small bathroom so I need something that saves space. Overall, if my son likes it then its a winner and I like that it has three functions. btw grocery store plastic bags work well too
