> 24 hourMy son just turned three (also has been in 3T pants for six or so months and transitioning from 4T to 5T shirts) and this does take some adjusting to be sure he doesnt pee out the front of it. That being said, it has been a big help when using public restrooms. I still lay toilet paper down on the seat before I place the potty seat over top just because it makes me feel better. But I simply place my son on the seat and he aims as best he can by leaning forward, etc. He has yet to have a BM on it, so I do anticipate some maneuverability issues there. (We also havent had to use it as a free standing potty yet. It is a pretty low seat, so well see how that goes too. Ill update as we get further along.) As short of a period of time as weve had it, Im thrilled with the ease of acceptance of the seat and its really great to have the base/legs of the potty seat to act as handles. I also am so pleased that it fits into the diaper bag (inside its own bag, of course). It helps to keep in mind that pee is sterile, so I just rinse it in the sink and toss it into the bag until I can wash it at home. Id consider using it at home too, but am certain that wed forget it before leaving. EDIT: We finally used as it a free-standing seat today and it held up well to his 33 pounds. No collasping (thanks to the careful instructions in other reviews to ensure it snaps in before putting my son on it) and it went without incident. I just had him lean forwards a bit to ensure the stream went down instread of out.

> 24 hourI bought this for my potty-training daughter so wherever we go we can whip this out. I have to say, it has SAVED me (and of course her) so many times, I feel totally grateful to have found this product. I especially like how clean it remains because the liners cover the entire surface. Now do I wish the bags were also biodegradable? Yes. But that probably wouldnt work well if it was full of urine and sitting in my car until I found a garbage to throw it in. So for now, I use it sparingly, but often enough to love it. Even my older kids use it in a pinch. My kids are on the tall side, so its a bit awkward getting them on it, so I hold it while they are sitting down to make sure it doesnt collapse. Boys can certainly stand and pee directly into it. I also use it inside a bathroom stall so my kids dont have to touch the big potty (or hear the noisy flush). All in all, a great resource for anyone with young children.

> 24 hourA small potty for kids, very easy to throw in a bag and take with you. My kids have been using it for 2 years now. it is small so just make sure your kids know to sit over the hole, we had one accident early on with a kid who sat too far back. I bought the reusuable liner for it and used it alot when the kids used it as a stand alone potty. Now they use it over the regular toilet. I would recommend for smaller kids (mine still use it at 5 and 7 but they are smaller framed). Great for traveling. helps kids not be afraid of the big toilet and they can hold on to the handles rather than put their hands on a dirty toilet seat.

> 24 hourThis tiny little potty is a life (carseat saver)! I actually have purchased two of these. The first was sent to the grandparents house so wed have a kid-friendly for when wed visit. The second I bought for us to keep in my car (after using the first while visiting family out of town) for potty breaks. I dont like public restrooms (who does really?!), so my fear was amplified once we tossed the diapers to the wind and entered the world of toddlers using the potty. I keep this tiny potty at the ready with the handy liner bags (you get like three bags to start with) you purchase more separately. When we have long days (grocery, errands, shopping, etc..) this potty does the job! You just sit their tiny bums on there, then tie up the bag after, and toss in the nearest trash can. Easy as pie and no nasty public potties to instill fear of them touching everything in sight.

> 24 hourI purchased this three years ago with 50 liners. I have to order more liners. This has been an absolute lifesaver! From lock the doors, there is no way we are getting out here to traffic at a standstill on the interstate. If you do any sort of traveling with young children, this is a must! It has held up wonderfully through two boys. Have not had any issue with it being wobbly. The legs lock into place nicely. There isnt much clearance but the five year old still uses it in emergencies when standing up isnt an option. I help them up and down. Works great between the seats in our van or for when we go camping. No issues with leaking bags even when they seem to fill the bag. Neither boys had an issue with the Baggie and prefer it to the public restrooms or portable toilets where we dont let them touch anything.

> 24 hourI purchase this for my 2 year old to avoid using the public bathrooms and bring it over to grand parents place since she refused to go to the adults toilets. Love the concept, but found quite a few flaws that i didnt expect. Height: The height of this potty is shorter than the normal potty, about 3/4 of its normal height. My daughter didnt mind squatting. Shape: The opening is wider than typical potties. Since the height is short, with squatting and a bigger opening for the seat makes her butt cheeks go lower and closer to the bottom which can potentially touching her own pee if the plastic bag is not laid flat. Biggest con: The UN-snapping of the legs for the potty. As you can see from the video of the product page, the legs needs to be snapped in (or up to the seat) in order to secure the potty seat - which was easy and quick enough. I can handle it when my daughter had to go right now. Then it comes the un-snapping part where im supposed to pull the legs out/down a little bit, then fold back (basically reverse your process when you snap the legs out to secure it) I have SUCH a TOUGH time pulling the legs out to fold back, when i did, the whole leg came out! I was trying to see if i did anything wrong but base on how its snapped, i dont think theres a smooth sliding back to fold the legs. Theres no way i will be able to handle this in the public bathrooms. Ive tried it a few times, the whole leg kept on coming out. If i control my strength to pull it out, i had to bascially hug the potty on my clean clothes in order to pull the legs out properly. I think this is good for either just stand alone potty or a stand alone toilet seat. Changing from closed to toilet seat and vice versa takes a second, changing from closed to potty take about 10 seconds, but changing from potty back to closed takes forever! When youre in the public, you really dont have that kind of time in a small space bathroom stall with a kid on your side, the dirty toilet, baby bag, and all those jackets in the winter time plus the whole nine yard with the cleaning after a bathroom trip!

> 24 hourIf you have a potty-training toddler, you need this! It has saved us on numerous occasions. Yes, it is a little annoying and awkward to carry and it does take up most of your diaper bag, but its dual purpose is ingenious and you will be so happy that you have it in your bag the first time you avoid almost having an accident. Unfold the flaps, position them straight out (it will click) and youve got a just-my-size toddler potty seat that you can put on top of any regular toilet. Just like the small seat you probably have at home, only maybe a little smaller and less cushy. Using the same seat on top of a different toilet seems to be very reassuring for my daughter and she is now fine going even in strange public bathrooms. And I like knowing that shes not touching the icky public toilet seat. Or you can fold the flaps all the way around, put in a bag (either the ones that they sell especially for this potty, or a regular cheapo plastic grocery bag with a few paper towels in it) and it becomes a little stand-alone potty. This is great if you are at the playground or somewhere where there are no toilets to put the small seat on, or if you are in the car and theres suddenly an emergency. Probably better for the back of an SUV but it even works on the floor of a Toyota Camry (speaking from personal experience). Yes, it is a bit gross to have to throw away the bag of pee but much less disgusting than cleaning wet pants, socks and car seat. This potty is not large -- it is definitely designed for a toddler and probably and average-to small- sized one at that. If you have a big kid, you might want to try out someone elses (is that totally gross?!) or at least take a look at it at a store before purchasing. I have a skinny mini so the size is no problem for us and I like that it is as small as possible because it does fit my diaper bag. Im hoping shell be fully trained soon so I wont be carrying it forever and shell likely still be pretty young and tiny, but I could see keeping it in the car for emergencies when she is older. A mom that I know of a five and a nine-year-old told me she still has one (not sure if is this exact one or a different brand) in her trunk just in case. I did a lot of research on potty seats and didnt see any other products that combine the two functions in such a small package. I would definitely buy this again (although is seems like it will probably hold up through multiple potty-trainers, so I will likely not have to) and have recommended it to all of my potty-training friends.

> 24 hourI recommend this to EVERYONE who tells me they are potty training it is AMAZING and I love that it comes in a plastic reusable bag for sanitary reasons AND it comes with little baggys to go potty in if you are not using over an actual toilet (havent had to use that yet but its a nice option to have) I honestly think this is a lot of the reason that potty training went so smoothly for us! She was trained within a month after turning 2 and in underwear - no nighttime diapers or snythin just straight from diapers to undies. She also can use this herself she can set it up and I can put it away on her stool and it doesnt take up as much space as her little potty we tried did and sh preferred using the big potty.

> 24 hourThis is the most best thing ever!! I just started potty training my almost 3yo daughter about 3 weeks ago. I bought this when we had to travel by plane to another city. I was browsing for some portable potty because I didnt want our travel to interrupt the training and definitely didnt want her to go back in diapers. After doing alot of research and comparing reviews, I found that this was the best thing in the market. And they were true!!! Its totally very helpful! I noticed some reviews mentioning that it didnt fit public toilets. However, I found that it workes perfectly, even though it did not fit it in the front of the seat as instructed. It fit better in the middle. I tried it on my toilet seat at home, where it fit perfectly inside. It fit in the middle on public toilets and hotel toilets, which were longer and a bit wider. My daughter had no issues sitting on it. And it also fits in my bag (a medium size). So, this potty is a total potty-training-on-the-go must have!!! Really love this product *I havent tried the sit on potty yet, but Im sure it wont be disappointing
