Only been a few days, but we love this potty. Our daughter seemed to be having trouble going poo on the regular sized ikea potty chair we were using, so we were looking for a potty that sat lower to the ground so she could squat more, since she usually squats to poo. This potty was perfect, much smaller and lower than the regular potty, and we havent had any more poo accidents and she seems to have no trouble going on the potty anymore. She loves sitting on the potette with the silicone liner, much more comfortable than the hard plastic by itself on this potty or the other potty chair we have. We bought mostly for use at home, but its so much smaller than we expected that its so easy to take with us wherever we go. We bought the reusable liner to use with it at home and havent tried the bag liners yet.

Trying to potty train twin toddler girls, Ill take any help I can get. And this travel training seat has been JUST what Ive been looking for! Nothing is more frustrating than feeling tethered to your house because your just-starting-to-get-this-potty-thing down toddler is terrified of big people potties. Multiplied by two. This seat has been just the ticket. It is small - easily stored in a small diaper bag or even a large-ish purse. It fits easily on a large toilet seat without the risk of collapse - which Ive found to be a problem with some of the other collapsible portable seats. But maybe the BEST thing about this seat is that it gives you options - are you in a public restroom? We got ya covered. Are you out on a road with no restroom in sight? Same seat - still works! Do you have one child who wants to sit up on the big potty? Yup, I got that for ya. Do you have another child who is scared of the big potty and wants her little potty? Bam - here ya go! The seat can be used on a large toilet, provides safe and clean places for little ones to put their hands while using it. The seat can also be set up as a stand-alone potty chair - use it in the car, on the floor, anywhere! It comes with liners that can be used with it - or Ive even used it with just a regular plastic grocery bag and a pull up put in the bottom for absorption. This seat also comes in a variety of colors and is very, very affordable. I am so happy with this product, I could bust! And I bet you will be too!

When my wife bought this I thought it was a bit silly, but it has proved invaluable for a family on the move. First the toilet is very compact, easy to use, and amazingly been far less messy than potty time at home (go figure). We use a diaper in the catch and as soon as the boys complete their business we roll it up and dump it the same way wed change our toddlers diaper. Finally the fact that when the little ones tell us they have to go we save the hassle of looking for a bathroom, the unbuckling and dismount process, and that final 100 yard pee pee dance/run, not to mention not using public restrooms. Now on our road trips we just pull into the gas station, let the kids use this portable potette. No more using those dirty bathrooms, just using their trash bins. Highly recommend this product.

If you dont have one of these yet- buy it now! My wife and I LOVE this amazing thing. We are not big fans of letting our kids pee in public, as some are. This portable wonder has allowed us to make emergency potty stops in NYC parks, sidewalks and even on the subway platform. Usually, we just use it in the park when we dont want to go searching for a public toilet (which is often dirty anyhow). Use plastic grocery store bags (double bag them in case one has a hole in it) for lining, then drop them in the trash. So simple, fast, sanitary and easy. Even doubles as a kid sized (and clean) toilet seat for those public restrooms which are less than sanitary.

This is a great seat to use with the liners and to have in your car. But when put on a toilet it is a very large opening and no splash guard and not very comfortable. Since the opening is wide, it was difficult for my 2year old to sit for any long period of time. We took it on our vacation but probably wont be doing that again. Its going to live in my car and used for roadtrips and emergencies. On vacation Id still take another more comfy seat that will stay in the hotel or the fold up kind to use in my diaper bag. The liners are great tho!! Nothing else out there like this seat plus liners.

Seriously, whoever came up with this invention is even better than Henry Ford for inventing cars; hands-down this is the greatest purchase I have made for my 18mo daughter...and weve purchased a LOT! My daughter said potty? the other day while in public, and was terrified of me holding her over the big (nasty) public restroom potty and wouldnt go...so in the diaper it was, poor thing. So we purchased this potty on the suggestion of a fellow Mom. I was skeptical, as my daughter is used to a padded seat, that sits on our big toilet (weve gone that route and not a mini-potty...shes done amazing starting at about 16mos~) so I was a bit concerned on whether or not she would understand what this was (when used as a stand-alone potty on the floor/ground): it came in the mail, I opened it, popped out the legs and locked them in place (**you have to pull them out to standing position, then push them upwards into the seat until you hear them click**) and set it on the floor...she immediately exclaimed potty!!! and sat down to hang out. SUCCESS!! From here on out this new travel potty was my bff. I keep it in its plastic bag, in our diaper bag 24/7...it paid for itself twice already: having it at my parents house 3hrs away to pop the legs to the side and put on the big potty, when I didnt think to bring her usual potty seat, and again when we were on the beach and she said potty. I dont go anywhere without it, ever. It comes with plastic bags that will hook around it, that they pee/poo into when youer on the go, and inside is a little pad to soak it all up...dont waste your money on more of these specialty bags...use some plastic grocery store bags, and line them with the thick maxi pads...its the same exact thing, and a FRACTION of the cost since you can buy cheapo brand pads. BUY THIS ITEM!!!!

Awesome product. I travel a fair amount and didnt want to delay or jeopardize potty training my toddler because of my fear of getting stuck somewhere without a toilet. I used this mostly on top of public toilets for the first few months - and it was GREAT for that. It reduced the anxiety of my little one trying to go in strange places, especially when he had to sit for a while to, ahem, produce. We used it on airplane toilets, you name it. Then one day we were about to get on a subway train in NYC and he announced that he had to go pee... I pulled out the Potette, had it set up in seconds, and he was able to sit and pee in comfort (if not privacy!). You really do have to push the legs hard to snap them into place so it is sturdy - but if you do that, it is strong enough to hold my 35lb little guy without a problem. I also love that this is super small, lightweight, and easy to carry around. Cant say enough good things.

Weve been using this for about a month now with our potty-training 2 year old. I didnt realize how hard it would be to take her into public restrooms -- she was very scared and wouldnt use the potty if I held her on it. This has made it possible to really take her to public places. We keep it in a wet bag that fits in the diaper bag. Some other seats fold smaller, but this has felt really stable on a variety of toilet seats. Weve also had to use it in the back of our hatchback, so its nice to have to find a public restroom if the need is urgent! She seemed perfectly comfortable on it. On some elongated toilets the seat fits farther back than I would like, but it seems okay for her.

I have a 2 and half year old girl and this potty has done wonders! I am a stay home mom of two toddlers! My daughter just started potty training 4 weeks ago. She is a little scared of the adult size toilets so I bought this to help her. Since I am a stay home mo I am always running errands and this has worked on every potty out there. I am a freak about germs and this potty allows your Toddler to place their hands on their own potty and not the toilet itself. I am excited about our road trip because if we are at a gas station and its really dirty, all I have to do is use the stand and she can go potty in the bag. You dont need their special bags, just bring small grocery bags with no holes! There is no wrong way to place this product on the toilet. It fits perfect into a diaper bag or a really big purse. Totally worth it. Kalencom 2-in-1 Potette Plus

Great little potty. But be aware it is VERY low to the ground and only meant for very little kids. We bought this as a travel potty to have in the car when hiking or camping. It works, but we will be buying something a little more stable and higher off the ground.
