Greater than one weekI cant evaluate whether this potty is durable or functional because neither of my kids would use it. I ordered this in anticipation of potty training my oldest toddler last year. She would never even sit on it. She screamed every time I tried to get her on it. I thought maybe she would use it once she was fully potty trained, but over a year later she has refused every single time Ive offered it. Shed rather hold her pee until we get to the next stop on a road trip than use this potty. Now a little under a year after training my oldest, I started training my youngest. Guess what? SAME STORY. She wouldnt even sit on it when I introduced it at home. And today in the car she said she needed to potty, so I pulled into a parking lot and set up this potty in the van, and she refused to use it. Shes been potty training for 5 days, and she decided to hold her pee until we finished the drive home instead of using this potty. (She is a bit of a potty prodigy, honestly, unlike my oldest.) Shes not even impressed by the idea of peeing on the turtles printed on the pad in the liner. Im giving this 2 stars because it doesnt seem fair to give it only one when I havent been able to put it to use. But I cant give it more than 2 stars because its been a useless waste of money for me. Its also a little tricky to pop the legs in and out, so its hard to get it set up super fast. My advice to anyone buying this is to WAIT before ordering more liners. Just wait. If your kid refuses to use this potty, at least you wont have wasted more money on extra liners like I did.

Greater than one weekWe originally bought this to travel out of state with our freshly trained nearly three year old son. On the road he insisted on using the toilet at rest stops and restaurants, etc without this seat. Ewww. When we got to the hotel he did the same. So I figured it was lost money - oh well - well use it for the next one. After all, it stores neatly and compactly. It even came with a plastic drawstring bag. When we returned home he then insisted he use it for our home toilet. So this ended up replacing the bulky one had there originally. I like that its so small I can either hide it behind the toilet or put it in the storage bag when we have guests. The little guy likes it because it fits both ways and he doesnt have to figure out how what side to face forward on the toilet. Its given him independence...and in a house with 4 other little people this is definitely a bonus

> 3 dayWe bought this for a hiking trip my husband and I will be taking with our 2 1/2 year old, whos been potty trained for about 10 months. Shes never had trouble holding it while weve been hiking before, but we wanted to comfortably hike longer distances (and at trails without bathroom facilities) without discomfort to her or anxiety about potential accidents. We tried it out this past weekend while we were doing a short hike, and it worked great. She peed without issue (we didnt even use a bag since we were outside), and the potty is small enough to unobtrusively carry in our hiking backpack/child carrier. The legs easily and sturdily click in place, so Im not sure where the review concerns about that are coming from. I feel much more at ease for our upcoming trip.

> 3 dayOnly been a few days, but we love this potty. Our daughter seemed to be having trouble going poo on the regular sized ikea potty chair we were using, so we were looking for a potty that sat lower to the ground so she could squat more, since she usually squats to poo. This potty was perfect, much smaller and lower than the regular potty, and we havent had any more poo accidents and she seems to have no trouble going on the potty anymore. She loves sitting on the potette with the silicone liner, much more comfortable than the hard plastic by itself on this potty or the other potty chair we have. We bought mostly for use at home, but its so much smaller than we expected that its so easy to take with us wherever we go. We bought the reusable liner to use with it at home and havent tried the bag liners yet.

> 3 dayThis is THE BEST purchase I have made in regards to potty training! My son was 20 months old when I purchased it and still loves it 2 months later, calling it his lady bug potty, because thats what he thought it was when he first saw it! I have not used the liners yet, but here are the ways I have used it and the features I liked: Works well in a public restroom. It does sit back towards the middle of the seat, so his ankles do touch the front of the seat unless I hold them up. It still is much more sanitary than just a paper liner or trying to hold him over the seat. It works well outside! I know I have a boy, but he does not yet have any concept of standing to void. I can set this outside towards the edge of the yard and it makes potty breaks during outside play a breeze! (We live in a very wooded area). Is great for when we are at grandparents--since this stores easily in his diaper bag, we dont have to try to always remember his potty seat from home. I thought the small pee guard would be a problem; however it has not been at all. I hold my sons knees together and he has never made a fountain over the top. Now he even holds his legs together on his own. My only annoyance is, when snapping the legs out of the sitting position, unless you do it very carefully, they snap out completely. It took a couple of tries to get it right...

> 3 dayWe use this potty for my 2yo boy at home with a reusable liner and he loves it more than his regular potty. We got this potty specifically for travel and for home. We havent tried it yet for traveling but I know my anxiety will be at ease with this potty when we do travel. TBH when we first got the potty in the mail, we thought how small the potty was, but I love how small it fits in my diaper bag, any bag. And my 2yo loves to carry it from the bathroom for potty time. I love this product, its a must-have for PT on the go and at home.

> 3 dayThe Potette is great for emergencies! Sometimes my toddler only gives me a 30 seconds heads up when he has to go. I pull out the Potette (with bag already in it ready to go) and he does his business. Its great and convenient. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it would have been nice if it were a little bigger. Sometimes my son pees on his own pants when he goes on the potty.

Greater than one weekThis little potty has been perfect. It folds up really small and fits in our medium-sized diaper bag. We keep it under the car seat for emergencies, and weve taken it several places with us. Unfortunately, parks and other places dont always have bathrooms. Weve been potty training for about a month, and it has been crucial to have a potty on hand at all times. Little ones cant always wait, nor do they give you much warning sometimes! My daughter thinks it is so much fun to go on her little potty. She also likes to unfold the legs to set it up. She really loves it. We bought a couple of packages of the refill bags, but they were pretty pricey. They work fine, but arent really worth the price, so I think Ill try the suggestion from some of the other reviewers and just use a shopping bag with paper towels when we run out. Overall, its sturdy, well-designed, and works great. I definitely recommend it! It doesnt cost much, and youll appreciate the peace of mind.

> 3 dayIve had this item for a few weeks now for my 2yo daughter, and I just cant imagine trying to potty train without it. It is very sturdy and it fits into my very small backpack that I use as a diaper bag/purse and we use it ALL the time. I have a potty seat with me at ALL TIMES, people! When we go in the car for longer rides, I put it into the chair configuration on the back seat with the baggie in it and we are ready to pull over and go potty if we need to. Folding it out and back down into its bag when we are out and around takes all of 10 seconds. It fits really well on every size/model of toilet weve tried it on, which is nice for nervous beginner pottiers that it doesnt jiggle or move. I would say this potty chair is the single most useful child-related item I have bought so far. If you are wavering on it, please just go for it, you wont be sorry! (We have the PEENK one, it is very pink and cute if you have a child who is impressed by pink things that are pink. I have one of those girls.)

> 3 dayThis was super helpful when our daughter was potty training. The only reason it doesnt get a full-blown five stars in every category is that when we go to collapse it back down, the leg pieces pull all the way off sometimes. But it was great to have in the car for potty training emergencies. our kid even really liked it that she could sit and pee while sitting in the back of the car and looking out on the world. We really didnt end up using it much in stores and restaurants though. Just personal preference on that one. I didnt feel like carrying it around going shopping and whatnot. It was good enough to have it in the car, we would have her go before we went in to a store or the zoo Etc.
