> 3 daySeriously, whoever came up with this invention is even better than Henry Ford for inventing cars; hands-down this is the greatest purchase I have made for my 18mo daughter...and weve purchased a LOT! My daughter said potty? the other day while in public, and was terrified of me holding her over the big (nasty) public restroom potty and wouldnt go...so in the diaper it was, poor thing. So we purchased this potty on the suggestion of a fellow Mom. I was skeptical, as my daughter is used to a padded seat, that sits on our big toilet (weve gone that route and not a mini-potty...shes done amazing starting at about 16mos~) so I was a bit concerned on whether or not she would understand what this was (when used as a stand-alone potty on the floor/ground): it came in the mail, I opened it, popped out the legs and locked them in place (**you have to pull them out to standing position, then push them upwards into the seat until you hear them click**) and set it on the floor...she immediately exclaimed potty!!! and sat down to hang out. SUCCESS!! From here on out this new travel potty was my bff. I keep it in its plastic bag, in our diaper bag 24/7...it paid for itself twice already: having it at my parents house 3hrs away to pop the legs to the side and put on the big potty, when I didnt think to bring her usual potty seat, and again when we were on the beach and she said potty. I dont go anywhere without it, ever. It comes with plastic bags that will hook around it, that they pee/poo into when youer on the go, and inside is a little pad to soak it all up...dont waste your money on more of these specialty bags...use some plastic grocery store bags, and line them with the thick maxi pads...its the same exact thing, and a FRACTION of the cost since you can buy cheapo brand pads. BUY THIS ITEM!!!!

> 3 dayIf you dont have one of these yet- buy it now! My wife and I LOVE this amazing thing. We are not big fans of letting our kids pee in public, as some are. This portable wonder has allowed us to make emergency potty stops in NYC parks, sidewalks and even on the subway platform. Usually, we just use it in the park when we dont want to go searching for a public toilet (which is often dirty anyhow). Use plastic grocery store bags (double bag them in case one has a hole in it) for lining, then drop them in the trash. So simple, fast, sanitary and easy. Even doubles as a kid sized (and clean) toilet seat for those public restrooms which are less than sanitary.

> 3 dayGreat little potty. But be aware it is VERY low to the ground and only meant for very little kids. We bought this as a travel potty to have in the car when hiking or camping. It works, but we will be buying something a little more stable and higher off the ground.

Greater than one weekIve had this item for a few weeks now for my 2yo daughter, and I just cant imagine trying to potty train without it. It is very sturdy and it fits into my very small backpack that I use as a diaper bag/purse and we use it ALL the time. I have a potty seat with me at ALL TIMES, people! When we go in the car for longer rides, I put it into the chair configuration on the back seat with the baggie in it and we are ready to pull over and go potty if we need to. Folding it out and back down into its bag when we are out and around takes all of 10 seconds. It fits really well on every size/model of toilet weve tried it on, which is nice for nervous beginner pottiers that it doesnt jiggle or move. I would say this potty chair is the single most useful child-related item I have bought so far. If you are wavering on it, please just go for it, you wont be sorry! (We have the PEENK one, it is very pink and cute if you have a child who is impressed by pink things that are pink. I have one of those girls.)

> 3 dayThis is a great seat to use with the liners and to have in your car. But when put on a toilet it is a very large opening and no splash guard and not very comfortable. Since the opening is wide, it was difficult for my 2year old to sit for any long period of time. We took it on our vacation but probably wont be doing that again. Its going to live in my car and used for roadtrips and emergencies. On vacation Id still take another more comfy seat that will stay in the hotel or the fold up kind to use in my diaper bag. The liners are great tho!! Nothing else out there like this seat plus liners.

> 3 dayIf your kiddo is learning to use the potty, or will be, or learned recently and still has potty emergencies or you have a baby and would like to use fewer diapers, this is a worthwhile investment! Id heard great things about this potty from parents who practice elimination communication with their babies, and from parents who had walked with a toddler through potty learning. But I honestly thought it was probably an extra thing that I didnt need.... Until I was planning an overseas trip with a new potty learner. I needed a potty that I could take and use just about anywhere. On a bus, on the side of the road, in our hotel room, in places without running water. This was all that, and more. What I love about this is how versatile it is. You can use it as a seat reducer on a regular toilet. You can use it with a plastic bag on the go. You can get the reusable silicone liner and use it as a regular potty chair (which is how we use it most). It worked like a champ on our overseas trip. It fit in kiddos Trunki suitcase as our carry-on. It was kiddos primary potty in our hotel room, and traveled with us to our work sites and pretty much everywhere. And it proved plenty useful at home as well. It goes to grandmas house, the babysitters house, church. It stays in the back of the car for playground or road-trip emergencies. When kiddo refused to use the outhouse at the Amish market, I just stuck him on the Potette in the hatch of the car. Problem solved. (To be fair, the outhouse WAS kind of scary)

> 3 dayOnly been a few days, but we love this potty. Our daughter seemed to be having trouble going poo on the regular sized ikea potty chair we were using, so we were looking for a potty that sat lower to the ground so she could squat more, since she usually squats to poo. This potty was perfect, much smaller and lower than the regular potty, and we havent had any more poo accidents and she seems to have no trouble going on the potty anymore. She loves sitting on the potette with the silicone liner, much more comfortable than the hard plastic by itself on this potty or the other potty chair we have. We bought mostly for use at home, but its so much smaller than we expected that its so easy to take with us wherever we go. We bought the reusable liner to use with it at home and havent tried the bag liners yet.

22-11-2024This was super helpful when our daughter was potty training. The only reason it doesnt get a full-blown five stars in every category is that when we go to collapse it back down, the leg pieces pull all the way off sometimes. But it was great to have in the car for potty training emergencies. our kid even really liked it that she could sit and pee while sitting in the back of the car and looking out on the world. We really didnt end up using it much in stores and restaurants though. Just personal preference on that one. I didnt feel like carrying it around going shopping and whatnot. It was good enough to have it in the car, we would have her go before we went in to a store or the zoo Etc.

> 3 dayOther moms recommended this seat to me and Im forever grateful that they did. This little seat has saved us time and again. It has travelled through England and Wales. Attended festivals, fireworks, and parties. Done its duty at the beach, in the car, on the plane, in public restrooms, in private restrooms, at the pool, at the playground, at the Botanical Gardens... you name it. The ease with which you can use it either as a stand alone potty or as a toddler seat on regular toilets is great. There have been countless times that we have had to use it pronto and pulled it out/set it up/packed it back up and got back rolling in record time. Our son is 3 years old and big for his age (42 lbs & 41 inches tall). It is a short little seat but he has no problems with it. He fits fine and it holds his weight easily. I wouldnt use it as his at home option because it wasnt built for that kind of use and it isnt as comfortable as the Bjorn, for instance, but it is great when we are on the go. He knows he has to hold himself down to avoid spills so we are not bothered by the fact that there is not a big cover for little boys. Our biggest challenge with the seat? We have tried using plastic grocery bags with outgrown extra diapers used as the absorbent instead of the Potette liners - we wont be doing that anymore. If you miss seeing the hole in the bag then everything leaks. We found out the hard way several times now so we are going back to the Potette liners. Otherwise it works like a charm. It is small enough that it fits in a backpack/diaper bag/large purse. Im the mom that magically pulls the potty out of her purse at soccer in the public park when one of the kiddos needs to go right now, the public toilet is too far and people frown on just going in the grass. (Although most of the moms now have this seat too. We are all packing Potettes. Haha.) It has truly helped our little guy with his potty training and helps me avoid all of the extra wash associated with all of the accidents that would have happened if we didnt have this little wonder. Tips: 1. Lock the legs in place when using it as a stand alone seat or it wont be sturdy. When locked in properly the seat is very solid/sturdy. 2. Set the seat up in the car before you go on long drives/trips. It helps to have it already set up before you pull over to have the little ones use the seat. 3. We see the Summer Infant Keep Me Clean Disposable Potty covers for public toilets. They definitely help with the ick factor by protecting both your child and the Potette from coming in contact with any part of the public seat. 4. It is small enough to keep with you... so just take it with you. Easy peasey. My family has always teased me for grabbing it when we go out but they always are grateful I have it is the end!

> 3 daywe are about a week into potty training and so far this is my sons preferred potty seat. we also have a little frog potty and a seat that sits on a regular toilet, but I guess this is the one he finds most comfortable. I bought the reusable liner and I definitely recommend it if you plan on using this seat as more than just a travel toilet. Cons: I havent tried using this as a travel option yet. It seems like it would be kind of difficult at first, as it takes a minute to set up, too long for a newly trained child in my opinion. Im not thrilled with it as a seat on a regular toilet. My son kind of sinks into it and the hard plastic leaves red marks. Also, it doesnt work with a potty hook and we only have one small bathroom so I need something that saves space. Overall, if my son likes it then its a winner and I like that it has three functions. btw grocery store plastic bags work well too
