With regular 60/40 solder, the solder undergoes a plastic period where its not entirely a liquid and not entirely a hard solid. If you bump or wiggle the joint in this plastic period, it ruins the joint. Save yourself the hassle by just getting this formulation which more or less eliminates the issue. Bump to your hearts content.

I made the mistake of purchasing 2 because of past experiences with other brands. Usually when you buy these reels, they pad the spool halfway so you think youre getting a full roll of solder when half the roll is plastic filling. Not in this case... you get a full FULL FULLLLLLL roll of solder that lasts longer than most marriages. Im barely halfway through my first roll. Definitely recommended.

Dont let the slightly higher price scare you away. After the first use, youll understand why is more expensive.

I have different spools of solder (leaded, unleaded, etc.) for different uses. Kester really blew it on the packaging. for this solder. Rather than an box with a top and a bottom, the spool is in a topless cardboard hexagon container. There is strapping tape over the top, holding the spool in. Unfortunately, the tape adhered onto the only label on the spool—so you cant remove the strapping tape without ruining the label. Ditch the topless cardboard hexagon container and simply wrap a plastic label around the solder to hold it on the spool. Shrink wrapping the entire spool might be a viable solution as well. Either will leave the label intact.

Lead - yum. It works well.

I regret learning to solder with other sub-par leaded solders. This size (20AWG) has worked well for me for small electronics pads (e.g. flight controllers) and associated higher-gauge wiring, as well as more substantial pads (e.g. electronic speed controllers) with wire gauges occasionally dipping to 8AWG without any issue. When using the right flux, and only when needed, you cant go wrong with this solder unless you need a lead-free variant.
