If you are doing electric soldering you should be using this wire.

I got this because Ive been soldering parts alot lately. My gripe with this is instead of keeping the top cap on, they literally taped the entire top with tape. The end result? If you try to pull the tape off, it rips off the label. Im hoping this is a one off experience. Cause thats just dumb! Otherwise, a quality solder, looks very authentic.

Great quality .Why risk your electronic assemblies to anything less?

No splatter, easy flow, cools right... connections are always solid. Great stuff!

I love this solder. I researched for a long time to decide what type I needed after I ran out of my chinesium stuff from 5+ years ago. I primarily use this for building drones as well as other DIY electronics projects. Best solder out there and I know this will last me awhile.

I dont know if I am overheating or under heating but this stuff is supposed to activate similar to RMA. It is not. I have not adjusted my settings from when I was using Indium 53563-0454 (which I thought should be similar) and these two solders are worlds apart. I had to check the label to make sure it was 245 because it literally behaves like flux free solder. I have no better way to describe it. I bought this on the off chance it would be a good alternative. The solder balls up, dries out, and SMD components are literally popping off. Same settings as my last solder., check the spec sheets they should work the same as far as I can tell. I am assuming the rosin is burning off too quickly or I got a bad batch. Regardless, I wouldnt buy again. I gave this two stars because it still may have a practical use when using additional flux but that kind of removes the selling point of rosin cored solder. Alternatively, I could be making some error but I am going back to Indium.

This solder is great. The rosen core really helps. It flows smoothly and clean. Highly recommended.

Good solder. Used it yesterday and today so far. Solders all my wires together. So much easier to use than that lead-free garbage Id been trying to use for years.

The best there is. Been using Kester for 30 years.

245 No-Clean Flux Solder will create visually acceptable assemblies without the need and expense of cleaning. Solderability and efficiency are comparable to that of mildly activated rosin flux (RMA). Residues are non-corrosive, non-conductive and do not require removal in most applications.
