> 3 dayI purchased this soldering wire on the recommendation of many an RC enthusiast. I initially had some difficulty making this solder “stick” to PCB pads (@350C), but after cleaning and recoating my soldering tip, thereby removing my old soldering alloy and replacing it with the new, it was smooth sailing. The solder flows easily and sets quickly once the tip is removed. It also results in a lot less flux residue than what I am use to. Minimal cleanup, if any. Highly recommended. Thank you for shipping to South Africa for me. Could not find Kester at all, locally.

> 3 dayGreat for small connectors and fine wires. Just have a worth while solder device...and not something from a discount store that only gets warm and doesnt heat.

> 3 dayComing off of similarly specd Radioshack branded 63/37 solder, this stuff is MUCH better. Melts faster and leaves cleaner joints even when performing repairs with old leftover solder.

> 3 dayIf youre going to spend $27 on a roll of solder, you kind of expect to get a quality product. However, in my case the roll showed up with a big chunk taken from the side of the roll. The chunk cut through the first and second layers of the solder. Its still usable but prolly going cut the top two layers off.

> 3 dayAfter spending the last year soldering tiny whoops, headphone cables, TRRRS connectors, MIN XLRs, etc... and often times getting frustrated with not getting good results, I upgraded my iron to a Hakko FX888D-23BY and while I did get good results with the leaded solder I was using, I still struggled with getting good flow and not having to turn my iron up. Bought a roll of this of many folks recommendations, and problem solved! I was able to turn my iron down, solder those pesky 4 pole and 5 pole headphone jacks, tine whoops, etc. with ease and the joints look amazing and are strong. This solder is the real deal and reminds me why I fell in love with the hobby as a kid.

> 3 dayDont let the slightly higher price scare you away. After the first use, youll understand why is more expensive.

> 3 dayIve tried other brands, Kester is the best. For almost 30 years Ive used this brand and cannot say enough good things about this solder.
