Kingston 480GB A400 SATA 3 2.5 Internal SSD SA400S37/480G - HDD Replacement for Increase Performance

I have had this thing for about a year now and it works fine, much faster than an hdd, but it is extremely slow for an ssd. I am not getting anywhere near the advertised speeds and it is performing way below expectation according to user benchmark. If you want a cheap ssd this is fine, but I would definitely spend a few more dollars to get a faster one.

I put this into my computer, unplugged my other SSD with Windows 10 on it, and installed Ubuntu. After it is installed, I plugged the Windows 10 back in. It is great for general browsing, email, and there are a lot of simple games on Ubuntu. It also has a good desktop publishing program, Office Program, and many other good reasons to have this second operating system on my computer. I use it a lot. The Office program has the unique feature of exporting as Epub format, as well as PDF format. I can directly convert my writing to Epub, install it in a micro sd card and add it to my Kindle and my Older Barnes and Noble ebooks. On the Kindle, I use file manager and Overdrive to read them. The Barnes and Noble just reads them natively. I use F-12 to switch between operating systems on the boot up. Im very happy with this setup.

I should have checked if Kingston provided free cloning software. I had picked up a PNY recently, and they provide the software.
