> 3 dayDefinitely improved the performance of my 2008 Dell laptop. Id recommend removing the old hard drive completely and reinstalling fresh Windows on this drive rather than cloning.

> 3 dayI bought this to upgrade an older laptop from a mechanical drive and as can be expected the machine runs incomparably faster than it did before. Its like buying a whole new laptop at a fraction of the cost. Any SSD probably would have done the trick, but Ive always had good experiences with Kingston products.

> 3 dayIve put these in 6 of my old systems for 16 bit gaming, redundancy, etc, to replace old hard drives that were getting slow, noisy and worrying me about their longevity.

> 3 dayThis is my second kingston a400 unit. The first 240gb has been running 24/7 for 6 months now and the 480gb drive going on a week. I have a Samsung 860 Evo for my OS and more frequently played games and to be honest outside of YouTube benchmarks I cant tell the difference in performance at all.

> 3 dayI’m unsure if it’s good for gaming or not. All I care about is that it works on my machine perfectly for the price!

Greater than one weekThis breathed new life into a a 12-ish year old PC Im still using. Booting into Win10 on the original 7200rpm HDD had been taking 3-5 minutes. Now it barely takes 1 minute.
