I used this as my primary drive for my gaming pc build. It holds just the operating system and a few important software. I use a slave ssd which has a larger storage capacity for programs and games. So far, this is performing very well and loads windows quick. I highly recommend it.

The advantage of the SSD over the HDD is speed. Boot time is normally about 35 seconds and programs start faster.

I bought this to upgrade a five year HP Pavillion laptop. Spent an entire two days trying to install but no luck. I didnt realize in advance that no install/clone software came with it. Add $45 to the cost. AOMEI software is based in China and no local phone or email address. Ill try contacting them tomorrow or return the drive. Cant return the unnecessary software. I will either try the Samsung (with software ) or just replace the laptop. BTEW, Im a retired computer programmer = mainframes and PCs

Purchased this SSD on July 15, 2020. Its now mid-February 2023 and my PC has been crashing daily for about a week. BSOD w/ DISK1 failure message. Ran HP UEFI and confirmed SSD is failing. I call this a short life for a primary drive.
