> 24 hourI bought this strainer for my new Kohler enameled cast-iron sink. It is heavy and clearly durable. I am sure that it will never need to be replaced. It is well-designed, adding to the beauty of the sink and functioning perfectly. The extra money that this strainer cost was well-spent.

> 24 hourIt keeps falling apart. The screw that holds it together comes loose. Very unhappy with this Kohler quality

> 24 hourWorks perfectly, should have paid the difference for Kohler quality the first time. Well worth the money.

> 24 hourThis thing is precision and heavy. The screws are very fine, the brass is nice and heavy, the gasket is thick. This item is a little pricey, but should last forever. Its a pleasure to work with high quality hardware.

> 24 hourThe strainer itself looks good. The Basket/Stopper does not seal and water leaks from sink. Seems like a very poor design on the stopper. There is nothing to guide the stopper squarely into the seating area and water leaks past the o-ring. Hole in basket has too much clearance and the stopper is not guided squarely into the seat. Very disappointed in this item. I have returned this item and Amazon gave me a full refund.

> 24 hourMy husband and I bought this strainer for our kitchen in summer 2008. We bought it mostly for the brushed nickel finish that would match our other kitchen hardware. Right from the start there were problems. The black rubber rings that are supposed stop the water from draining out of the sink would pop off all the time. I would fill the sink with soapy water and a few minutes later it would be drained. I would try to re-adjust the strainers so that they would hold water. Sometimes I could get it to hold water but often they wouldnt. We paid just under $50 a piece for two strainers and it was by far the worst money we spent renovating our entire kitchen. The product has a one year warranty. We didnt take advantage of it in time so the company graciously sent us two new rubber rings.

> 24 hourWell made, but not cheap. I bought a used like new item at a much reduced price over MSRP, which made it reasonable. Be careful if buying this and a disposal flange for a double sink, because the stainless steel versions of the two have dissimilar finishes. I went with the brushed nickel versions of both to get a match.

> 24 hourThe sink strainer looked like good quality until we installed it. We bought two and the first one went in without a problem, following direction to a T. The second one started out ok but as we tightened the screws evenly it caused the the ring to cross thread. I guess not the worst thing in the world unless you ever want to get it off. But the main think was when we put in the basket (sink stopper) the water flowed through as if we didnt have it in the stop water position. For the price of that sink strainer I would think the rubber gasket on the basket would work, but it doesnt. Guess now I have to put out more money for a sink stopper that works.Very disappointed.
