KOHLER 8799-PB Duostrainer Sink drain and strainer basket, less tailpiece, 1.5, Vibrant Polished Brass

Nice strainer, but I found one just like it at HD for half the price. It cost me to return this, but I still came out ahead.

It keeps falling apart. The screw that holds it together comes loose. Very unhappy with this Kohler quality

The strainer wont seal. Im using Saran wrap around the stopper to get it to hold water.

Very heavy and solid Construction, the color matches my Kohler faucet perfectly, even though it is brass construction. It is a little shorter in height then some other sink drains, so you may need a longer tailpiece when doing installation. Mine was shy by Justin inch, so pick up a piece of tail pipe from the hardware store before starting just in case. Otherwise easy to install and works extremely well.

Stainless strainer is expensive, but the only way to go. This one is nice and heavy duty. I doubt if I will ever have to replace it.

Well worth the money! I had earlier purchased a different strainer from my local big box hardware store about 3 months ago. It was a made in China stainless steel strainer priced at about half the price of this Kohler. What a mistake! It actually started to rust in less than a month after installation. Shame on these stores for carrying this junk!

Heavy cast brass, one of the few made in America plumbing foundry & pottery ware. They tend to be high end, but I let the customer make the call.

You never have to lift it out of your sink except to throw out what its caught. Its the best sink strainer Ive ever owned.

The KOHLER sink strainers are very good quality ,and are a great addition to our kitchen sink. They are are easy to clean and maintain.
