> 3 dayThis is solid brass and replaced my 20 year old Kohler strainer perfectly. The lock ring that secures the strainer under the sink is now steel which can bend if overtightened. Tip: Use Plumbers Putty to seal the strainer to the sink ... not silicone. The old lock ring was also made of solid brass. I used the old lock ring to secure the new strainer. This is a quality product and I am very pleased with my purchase. Price was reasonable and the Seller got it to me fast. Very pleased with the product and the service.

> 3 dayI bought this thinking the price would indicate the quality, and I was right. This stainless steel drain is much more heavy duty than the plated one I replaced; it’ll probably outlive my house.

Greater than one weekI bought this strainer for my new Kohler enameled cast-iron sink. It is heavy and clearly durable. I am sure that it will never need to be replaced. It is well-designed, adding to the beauty of the sink and functioning perfectly. The extra money that this strainer cost was well-spent.

20-11-2024The strainer itself looks good. The Basket/Stopper does not seal and water leaks from sink. Seems like a very poor design on the stopper. There is nothing to guide the stopper squarely into the seating area and water leaks past the o-ring. Hole in basket has too much clearance and the stopper is not guided squarely into the seat. Very disappointed in this item. I have returned this item and Amazon gave me a full refund.

> 3 dayVery heavy and solid Construction, the color matches my Kohler faucet perfectly, even though it is brass construction. It is a little shorter in height then some other sink drains, so you may need a longer tailpiece when doing installation. Mine was shy by Justin inch, so pick up a piece of tail pipe from the hardware store before starting just in case. Otherwise easy to install and works extremely well.

> 3 dayThe stopper does not reliably do its job and drains the basin the majority of the time, working properly only on occasion. I asked for a replacement, was sent one right away, and IT too will not reliably seal the drain. Mind you, this is an expensive strainer/stopper costing over $100.00. Its got to be an issue with the rubber O ring. Very dissatisfied.
