> 24 hourI purchased a KYY 4K monitor (3820x2160) for my personal use around the house or on the road (flexgate got my 2017 MacBook Pro [MBP]). But for my daughter in college, I got her this inexpensive, yet excellent monitor from the same manufacturer. Like my first KYY monitor, this one is well-built, lightweight, and simple to use for her dorm room or the library (it might be a little too much for a classroom or lecture hall). The monitor does not have an internal battery and the power cable is a little too short in my opinion; however, when I connect the included USB-C cable to her MBP, she was able to get about three hours of use before her MBP battery died (it’s an old battery). KYY’s awesome customer service reached out to me after my purchase and asked for any suggestions. I told them that I’d like to see a VESA mount for when not mobile; a longer power cord; and an internal battery. Even without these conveniences, my daughter is still able to do what she needs to do off the MBP battery. If KYY rolls out another monitor with the above features at their reasonable prices, I’ll purchase from them again.

> 24 hourI plugged it up and worked right away!! i love it. I am using it with PC. I wanted a small second screen because I dont have much more room on my desk. The only problem is that I had to order another connector to use it with my video card. That wasnt much of a hassle though. Great price!

> 24 hourOnly had this about 12 hours now, and I am extremely happy with it. I only bought it for my XBox One S, my Switch, and the XBox Series X I am getting in a few days. This monitor pretty much does everything as advertised, except regardless of what it says ob Amazon, you will need headphones or an external speaker, which I already was prepared for. Picture quality is excellent, I am loving the 1080p, so much better than the GAEMS monitor (housed inside a big bulky case). My only real complaint is there is NO REMOTE CONTROL IR functionality, which the GAEMS device did have. Id have been willing to pay a little extra for one, but this is really a small gripe compared to how excellent the picture looks. Also, I absolutely love the fact that I dont need the HDMI port to connect my Switch, it has full function USB-C (unlike any of my phones or tablets, however I think my iPad might actually work, Ill have to check it out). VERY HAPPY with this purchase so far. AND the price was very reasonable.

> 24 hourFirst off, the picture quality, brightness, and viewing angles are excellent. I used this monitor on one business trip and it survived in my carry-on. I brought it on a second trip in my checked luggage and then the HDMI port stopped working. The USB in continued to work though. The monitor was packaged in the original shipping material, wrapped in clothes, then put in a duffel bag. I dont know if the HDMI port went out due to rough baggage handling or other reasons. I emailed customer support and told them my issue. They immediately sent a replacement and I had it in three days. I didnt need to prove to them that I had already troubleshot the issue. I didnt need to return the broken monitor. I didnt need to pay shipping. I wasnt even asked to write this review. They simply fixed my issue quickly and without any hassle. When was the last time you had such an easy return experience? I couldnt believe how good their customer service was. My new monitor works perfectly. Ill bring it in my carry-on from now on.

> 24 hourPleased with this monitor for the most part as far as the quality for the price, I paid, and the convenience of being able to travel back-and-forth with my laptop and have two monitors. The only complaint I have is the case that doubles as a stand, although it works great to protect the monitor when traveling it does not work that well to hold it up works better with just a regular cell phone stand

> 24 hourBought two of these monitors to use while working remote on the road. They also work great for streaming with an Amazon Fire Stick. I purchased a mini HDMI to HDMI female cable and then plug the Fire Stick into it. Since the monitor has speakers, you can watch and listen to shows. Great for road trips.

> 24 hourThis screen is amazing. I travel for work so it’s perfect because it’s not oversized and a burden and I am able to have a monitor to get my work done more efficiently! I have also used it for gaming on my PS5, and let me just tell you!!! The quality is top tier, especially for the price!

> 24 hourI bought a portable monitor at a local office store, couldnt play video on it. Couldnt size it so that it matched my laptop screen. Based on reviews I have since read, there are technical reasons for this that I am not knowledgeable enough to articulate. I ordered this, and it works beautifully. It was easy to set up, it plays videos, and the spreadsheet on my laptop and the one on this screen can be sized the same. Love it.

> 24 hourUpdate 7/21/22: Still 5 stars. Working perfectly and durable. Carry it around in my pack with 2 PCs (work and personal). Packaging this comes in is so nice and durable that I hated to throw it out - but did, yesterday. The box almost seemed like I should use it for something but resisting my hoarding temptations, got rid of it. Someone mentioned it in a review as being fragile. I do not get that feeling but I suppose if you damaged it, then you might think that. But they still gave it 5-stars, anyway. The tech still seems like magic that video and power can both go in that usb-c cable (if you have a video capable USB-C port which you likely do not, if not having a newer and better computer but still great with the provided HDMI mini connector). ------ I took this out of the box and plugged it into my work PC with the USB-C to USB-C connector that came with the monitor. It came right to life perfectly. Thats it - connected with one cable and it was on. The settings to extend the monitor, duplicate the screen, etc. worked exactly like any second monitor and was super simple (these are settings on your computer - not the monitor). There is sound from a built in speaker which might work if you need sound in a pinch but ANY computer or phone speakers will be much better (my phone speakers blow this monitors speakers away). With my older but still pretty modern Acer notebook the USB-C is not apparently the newest and will only provide power and will not feed the video like my newer Dell work notebook. It still works well, however, by using the USB-C for power and the provided HDMI to mini-HDMI connector. So it just needed 2 cables instead of 1 and it worked perfectly (have it on right this second). It is amazing (to me, anyway) how well this works with just power from the USB-C cable. The quality of the display seems comparable to my desktop external monitor or any screen on a notebook computer. The cover/stand took me a minute to figure out but it is very simple. Just took a minute to see how they meant for it to work but then, super simple. I hope the screen is durable as I plan to carry it around in my backpack with my 2 PCs when I work outside the house.
