> 3 dayOkay Ive been doing my research for external monitors to use for remote work and Im telling you this is the one! If you use usb-c to usb-c, you dont need a power supply. There is literally no setup required, just plug in both ends of the cable and the screen has a fancy opening display. The build quality is great and I have 0 complaints so far. I also chose this brand because it had the best customer service reviews too. Ill update this if I run into any issues later. Super happy customer :)

> 3 dayI bought a portable monitor at a local office store, couldnt play video on it. Couldnt size it so that it matched my laptop screen. Based on reviews I have since read, there are technical reasons for this that I am not knowledgeable enough to articulate. I ordered this, and it works beautifully. It was easy to set up, it plays videos, and the spreadsheet on my laptop and the one on this screen can be sized the same. Love it.

> 3 dayThe screen size and resolution are great! I purchased this to replace smaller portable monitors that cost a lot more! I use a MacBook Pro with this monitor.

Greater than one weekI purchased this monitor to display videos from a Raspberry Pi in my sons booth at craft fairs. It works beautifully! Easily portable, and plenty bright. As this monitor is Mini-HDMI and the Pi is Micro-HDMI, I had to get a separate cable to connect the two. Both the Raspberry Pi and the monitor are powered off of a 20K mAh power bank which can power them for ~5 hours. When its not being used in a booth, my wife added it as a third monitor for her Windows Work from Home setup, using the included HDMI/Mini-HDMI cable. Ive also hooked it up to my MacBook Pro using the included USB-C cable.

> 3 dayI have tried several monitors including one 4K touch monitor. This one is a great monitor for a very reasonable price. One issue I have faced - either from KYY OR from Amazon fulfillment - I ordered a black monitor but received a grey one. I ordered it again and received another grey instead of a black. This is however a fulfillment issue, so I cannot penalize the KYY team OR the monitor for it. I highly recommend this monitor to anyone looking for one.

> 3 dayI purchased this monitor in April 2022, it has been excellent for working remote while traveling; however, the screen started flicking on and off, I unplug it and plug it back it comes on for a few seconds and cuts back off. This monitor cost a decent amount of money to only last for 6 months. I dont use that often so its not like its old and warn out

> 3 dayI do data analytics so high graphics isnt important. I just need extra screens for all the information. Got them new on special for Christmas. The resolution is low but I just need them for numbers. I bought two and daisy chain them. They use the power from the thunderbolt.

> 3 dayI’ve purchased and used a number or portable monitors. I primarily use mine for business. This monitor is a good choice and an excellent value. First impressions were based on the packaging. Very well package with every component sealed. The box includes everything needed to get connected and running. My laptop has a fully functional UCB-C. When connected, the PC recognized the monitor and the monitor display immediately came up. No external power was needed. If using the mini HDMI connection, you will need to connect the included power source to one of the two USB-C ports on the monitor. The monitor has a very nice and slim profile. The screen displayed pictures and text very well. The colors were good however, they appear muted when compared to a higher end 4K OLED screen. The screen is bright enough to work efficiently in a lit room and the screen appears to brighten further when the power supply is used as opposed to only using the USB-C power from the PC. The onboard speakers are functional but as is the case with any of these portable monitors, you will find them lacking as the primary sound media output. The included magnetic cover functions as a stand with two viewing positions and does a good job protecting the screen when stored. In addition to my PC, i was able to connect an android device with no issue. An iPhone requires a special adapter however, an iPad Pro will function with only the USB-C cable. Overall, this is a very good portable monitor and will serve you well without breaking the bank.

Greater than one weekI was able to connect it to my iPhone and IPad with a Lightning to HDMI adapter. It also easily connected to my Fire Tablet, but connecting to my Dragon Touch K10 android tablet required a Micro HDMI to Mini HDMI cable. Connecting an Amazon Firestick required an HDMI to Mini HDMI Adapter. I’m able to power it when necessary by using a USB power brick. Picture quality is quite clear, and the cover/stand works well. I’m still getting used to manipulating the scroll wheel to control settings. Sound could be better, but the headphone jack makes it easy to add an external speaker. All in all the KYY is great value for the price.

Greater than one weekI had to purchase a new display monitor as my asus mb16ace monitor would no longer show udemy vids correctly due to USB C issue. The KYY monitor came securely packaged and with all the different connections needed for my MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015) to get connected. I am currently using the USB C power block, along with the HDMI output from my laptop. So far, everything is working as expected and is intuitive to setup. The only issue that I foresee and am still figuring out is connecting to bluetooth headphones while using the KYY display. It seems that HDMI audio must go through the KYY display only, havent discovered a way around having to use the displays audio port. Otherwise, I can continue learning and feel this is a good purchase in continuing my studies on udemy.
