> 3 dayLike everyone else who works remotely at times, I end up with countless windows open and find it difficult to do my work on one small 14 laptop screen (not to mention aging and my eyes). I got this because I was traveling and didnt want to take the whole week for vacation. I got EXACTLY what I wanted out of this product. Let me cover the good and the things you should know. All the cords you need to hook this monitor up come with it. I would love to connect it to my computer via USB4 port, but my I use my USB4 port to charge my computer when I travel because the charger is so light and small. So I fell back on the HDMI cord. Came in the package. Boom! Power supply was also included. I connected mine to my computers USB 3.0 port and ran the USB-C cable into the monitor. Power on! Lots bad has been said about the case. I found it very functional. It may not have your ideal viewing angle, but it worked fine for me using the case. It wouldnt fail to capsize in the event of a 7.0 earthquake, but it worked fine in my week-long use. So what do I not like? Well, the monitor is not a high-end one with mind-numbing resolution and clarity. Its good. Plenty good for work on websites, documents, spreadsheets and the like, but if I were a traveling videographer or photographer, Id want something more high end. For me? Worked fine. So for the price I paid, I cant be more satisfied. Sure, Id love one that was larger, but this one fits in my laptop bag no problem. Id love one with a built-in battery so I wouldnt have to plug in the bulky HDMI cord. Id love a better case/stand. But really, this is a solid device, and if you shop for bargains, youre going to have to accept some compromises. With that in mind, I can wholeheartedly recommend this monitor to anyone needing some visual real estate for work, especially while traveling. Its thin, light, functional and it wont break the bank. Thats a lot of winning for such a small screen.

> 3 dayI ordered 2 of these monitors for a 1 month trip I was going on. The resolution is great and the additional screen real estate was a perfect addition to my 13 laptop, improving my productivity drastically. I used the monitor with 2 different laptops, one worked with USB-C only and the other I set up with HDMI + power via USB-C, but all cables were included for any type of connection, whether USB-C or HDMI. I really like the external monitor and plan to use this more as I travel. Unfortunately one of the screens immediately broke the first time I took it anywhere after being extremely careful with how I placed them into my backpacks laptop area. By the time I got home, I was outside of the amazon return/replacement window, but I contacted support and they were super helpful and sent a replacement no questions asked. I am really impressed with their customer service, both the level of service and the extremely positive attitude they had with the entire exchange. I originally packed with the included cover + one of the pieces of foam it came shipped with and placed it alongside my laptop for support, but it seems like you need to be extremely careful about any pressure whatsoever on the screen side. I may get a piece of wood or something rigid to help protect the screen while on the go.

> 3 dayUpdate 7/21/22: Still 5 stars. Working perfectly and durable. Carry it around in my pack with 2 PCs (work and personal). Packaging this comes in is so nice and durable that I hated to throw it out - but did, yesterday. The box almost seemed like I should use it for something but resisting my hoarding temptations, got rid of it. Someone mentioned it in a review as being fragile. I do not get that feeling but I suppose if you damaged it, then you might think that. But they still gave it 5-stars, anyway. The tech still seems like magic that video and power can both go in that usb-c cable (if you have a video capable USB-C port which you likely do not, if not having a newer and better computer but still great with the provided HDMI mini connector). ------ I took this out of the box and plugged it into my work PC with the USB-C to USB-C connector that came with the monitor. It came right to life perfectly. Thats it - connected with one cable and it was on. The settings to extend the monitor, duplicate the screen, etc. worked exactly like any second monitor and was super simple (these are settings on your computer - not the monitor). There is sound from a built in speaker which might work if you need sound in a pinch but ANY computer or phone speakers will be much better (my phone speakers blow this monitors speakers away). With my older but still pretty modern Acer notebook the USB-C is not apparently the newest and will only provide power and will not feed the video like my newer Dell work notebook. It still works well, however, by using the USB-C for power and the provided HDMI to mini-HDMI connector. So it just needed 2 cables instead of 1 and it worked perfectly (have it on right this second). It is amazing (to me, anyway) how well this works with just power from the USB-C cable. The quality of the display seems comparable to my desktop external monitor or any screen on a notebook computer. The cover/stand took me a minute to figure out but it is very simple. Just took a minute to see how they meant for it to work but then, super simple. I hope the screen is durable as I plan to carry it around in my backpack with my 2 PCs when I work outside the house.

> 3 dayThis screen is amazing. I travel for work so it’s perfect because it’s not oversized and a burden and I am able to have a monitor to get my work done more efficiently! I have also used it for gaming on my PS5, and let me just tell you!!! The quality is top tier, especially for the price!

> 3 dayI bought this a year ago since I work remote and travel a lot - this was the best quality I could find for the lowest weight. It has served me well, but within one month the USB-C port stopped working for anything but power - it would not transfer picture. For that first month it was great because I only needed the one chord, but since then I have needed a power chord and the mini-HDMI-to-HDMI chord (which you cant find in tech stores by the way, only on Amazon). About 6 months after purchase, I started to notice that the picture chord would only work if held a certain way, so I always had to prop something extra under the connected chord to get a picture. And finally today, 11 months after purchase, the picture stopped transferring altogether - Ive tried both chords I have now its just a nice big paperweight. I think Ill buy it again because it was very useful for that year, this time I will just use the support as soon as something stops working so hopefully I can keep it fixed within the warranty.

> 3 dayI got this 5 weeks ago, and for the first 5 weeks, it’s worked perfectly. Now, however, all it does is show the initial page, and then the screen goes black, except when it flashes white every second. I’m 9 days past the return period, and cannot get a refund on this. Buyer beware—maybe you want to do some more research before purchasing a portable monitor.

Greater than one weekI purchased this as an add-on display to use with my Steam Deck for when I have some downtime in a hotel while on a trip and I want to play games on a bigger, but still portable display. I owned the device for just under two months and with only light usage it eventually just refused to power on. I have requested a refund on that ground, since the product appears defective. My overall experience with using the device while it was working was mixed. When it worked, it worked as I would expect. The picture was fine and it handled 1080p just fine and was responsive. Getting it connected over the HDMI connection proved to be a trial and error process when using the Steam Decks dock. The instructions indicated that I had to connect everything up with it all being powered off, and so doing that seemed to have a higher success rate of working. Some of that compatibility might be on Valves end, but I also had trouble connective it to other devices via USB-C. I also found it annoying that the on-screen controls refused to function without any working input source, so there was no real troubleshooting I could do until the device was working, which, by that time was unnecessary. While my unit might be defective, I was not overly impressed with the user experience of this device. I think I might try another brand and see if I have better luck.
