The monitor has two USB-C ports, and a mini-HDMI port. The HDMI cable connects to the HDMI on my laptop. The monitor can be powered by the USB port on the laptop without using the USB power adaptor that came with the monitor. Monitor quality is good - clear with matte surface. The speakers on the monitor are a bit weak; I just have the audio come from the laptop. The case feels metallic and solid. The cover that came with the monitor is flexible and functional for both screen protection and as a monitor stand. Overall, a great portable monitor especially at the price point.

I originally bought this to take with me whenever I dont work in the office or from home. This thing is amazing so far and the size of the screen is nice as well since my laptop monitor screen is a tad smaller. I also use this to play games on my switch if Im not doing so at home or via handheld.

Before you read the issue I had below I would like to add that the seller saw this review and contacted me directly. They asked me a few troubleshooting questions and when they saw that I actually had a hardware problem they sent me a new monitor and it works perfectly. So thank you for the great customer service and this is a great product now that I have one that works correctly! It works fine on my Dell laptop if I use the USB-C port for power and the HDMI for video. But I really think it should work with just the USB-C alone. But it doesnt. It just powers up and says no signal. I even tried it on my sons Nintendo switch to see if maybe it was my computer was the problem. Doesnt work on USB-C on the switch either. Powers up but says no signal. Im sure I could use the switches docking station and use the HDMI out and it would work fine. But thats not the point. Was advertised to have a fully functional USBC port. That could be used for power and video. So either mine is malfunctioning or its false advertisement.

When an item is as good it advertises, I like to leave a review to help others. This worked great for traveling as a second attached monitor to my MacBook Pro. I especially liked how this does NOT require a power source (for the MBP set up). -SIMPLE set up. -Very Light weight. -Fold Up stand/magnetic is nice! -Clear, Bright display. Back at Home - Ive now connected the portable Monitor to my 2015 iMac. This did require the use of the provided power source and a (separate purchase) Thunderbolt cable to fit their provided mini HDMI. And to top it off, I placed the KYY vertically-next to the iMac - instructions in their book. This is a good purchase. Hope this helps!

I can’t believe i have been looking at a big ugly monitor in my home office for years when this exists. The quality and function is as good as a traditional second screen but it folds away when not in use AND is easily portable. What a great little product. Hopefully it lasts but even if i have to replace in a year it would be worth it IMO.

I bought this for my Cyber security class and the picture quality and the simplicity of it all together makes this so worth the money! It’s the best bang for its buck!

Updated review, Ive had it for a few months now. Im super happy with this product. It lives in my backpack next to my laptop and it works perfectly every time. The cover re-folds to become a stand. Just slip it, and the included USB-C cable into your backpack and carry it everywhere. You dont really need to read the directions; just run the provided USB-C cable between your computer and the monitor and away you go. I havent tried it on other devices or used the HDMI cable, but for what I need it for, it works perfectly.

The screen size and resolution are great! I purchased this to replace smaller portable monitors that cost a lot more! I use a MacBook Pro with this monitor.

I bought it to use while traveling to South Korea. It is a great secondary monitor and works flawlessly. The only downside was that the manual stated it would work with a cellular phone USB-C port but it just does not: more specifically, it powers on, and on, and on, and so forth so you must plug a separate power to get this worked. Samsung Phone Users You must de-activate Samsung Dex to use as a mirroring device. You can deactivate it by scrolling down the drop screen to turn off the Dex icon. Pros Good screen quality, good build quality, the magnetic stand, cover, ease of use, ready for any device, and low price point Cons A cell phone connection requires an additional power source to work unlike stated in the manual. Speakers are not loud for large areas: it is only good for small rooms.

This is a very well-made product. I like the cover it comes with. No technical issues since purchase.
