Only had this about 12 hours now, and I am extremely happy with it. I only bought it for my XBox One S, my Switch, and the XBox Series X I am getting in a few days. This monitor pretty much does everything as advertised, except regardless of what it says ob Amazon, you will need headphones or an external speaker, which I already was prepared for. Picture quality is excellent, I am loving the 1080p, so much better than the GAEMS monitor (housed inside a big bulky case). My only real complaint is there is NO REMOTE CONTROL IR functionality, which the GAEMS device did have. Id have been willing to pay a little extra for one, but this is really a small gripe compared to how excellent the picture looks. Also, I absolutely love the fact that I dont need the HDMI port to connect my Switch, it has full function USB-C (unlike any of my phones or tablets, however I think my iPad might actually work, Ill have to check it out). VERY HAPPY with this purchase so far. AND the price was very reasonable.

I purchased this monitor to display videos from a Raspberry Pi in my sons booth at craft fairs. It works beautifully! Easily portable, and plenty bright. As this monitor is Mini-HDMI and the Pi is Micro-HDMI, I had to get a separate cable to connect the two. Both the Raspberry Pi and the monitor are powered off of a 20K mAh power bank which can power them for ~5 hours. When its not being used in a booth, my wife added it as a third monitor for her Windows Work from Home setup, using the included HDMI/Mini-HDMI cable. Ive also hooked it up to my MacBook Pro using the included USB-C cable.

Working from home now and I needed a second monitor. I previously had a different brand, and after ~10 months the mini HDMI port had gotten damaged (somehow). So I bothis one, and so far it has been 100% perfect for my needs.

I’ve purchased and used a number or portable monitors. I primarily use mine for business. This monitor is a good choice and an excellent value. First impressions were based on the packaging. Very well package with every component sealed. The box includes everything needed to get connected and running. My laptop has a fully functional UCB-C. When connected, the PC recognized the monitor and the monitor display immediately came up. No external power was needed. If using the mini HDMI connection, you will need to connect the included power source to one of the two USB-C ports on the monitor. The monitor has a very nice and slim profile. The screen displayed pictures and text very well. The colors were good however, they appear muted when compared to a higher end 4K OLED screen. The screen is bright enough to work efficiently in a lit room and the screen appears to brighten further when the power supply is used as opposed to only using the USB-C power from the PC. The onboard speakers are functional but as is the case with any of these portable monitors, you will find them lacking as the primary sound media output. The included magnetic cover functions as a stand with two viewing positions and does a good job protecting the screen when stored. In addition to my PC, i was able to connect an android device with no issue. An iPhone requires a special adapter however, an iPad Pro will function with only the USB-C cable. Overall, this is a very good portable monitor and will serve you well without breaking the bank.

UPDATE: Kathy was extremely helpful in getting the issue resolved. She made this customer extremely appreciative and happy! 5-Stars on customer service. I travel a lot for work, so I needed something light and easy to carry. This fits the size and weight requirements. The picture quality is good, the unit is easy to put in a laptop bag, and the single USB-C cable was a plus for data and power. However, no matter what I tried, the phone will not see this as an external display. I have a Google Pixel 5a, maybe the phone is the issue, but I cant find how the phone is the issue. Recently, the USB-C ports stopped working. I have replaced the cable, and still no luck in getting it to work. I am now connected via the HDMI cable with the power cord to get it to work. Summary. Until this issue has been rectified, I cant recommend this to any one. I will reach out to the seller to see if they can replace the unit. I will update this review once I have more information.

***Updated review!!*** After my initial review, a member of customer service reached out to me and send me a replacement monitor free of charge. Daisy was so easy to work with and was very pleasant. I’m hoping that my first monitor was a fluke and that this new monitors lasts me for years to come. Thank you to Daisy from KYY for proactively reaching out and fixing the issue. I’m back in business with my new monitor. Enjoyed this product until it stopped working randomly after 9 months of use. Can’t find a way to get ahold of customer support because the “product support window has closed”. The convenience was nice, but ended up being a waste of money considering I can’t even get ahold of support.

Like most of you reading the reviews, I know the price might make you concerned that it is not a quality screen, so I set my expectations to be average. But in person, it is a very nice screen. Not top of the line. No dead pixels. Minor bleed in a dark room around the edges, but not enough to bother me. Color is vibrant, , black is dark with no washout, Crisp text, runs a solid 1080P, and very bright. Includes cables. Cons; HDR is a mess and cant be used for me. Case is a little flimsy but is okay because it was free, no VESA mount on the back. Well worth the money and I am glad I bought it. Time will tell on the durability, but if it makes it a year with everyday use, I will be happy.

I love it as an extended monitor! It’s very sleek and the picture is very vivid.

I do data analytics so high graphics isnt important. I just need extra screens for all the information. Got them new on special for Christmas. The resolution is low but I just need them for numbers. I bought two and daisy chain them. They use the power from the thunderbolt.

I had to purchase a new display monitor as my asus mb16ace monitor would no longer show udemy vids correctly due to USB C issue. The KYY monitor came securely packaged and with all the different connections needed for my MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015) to get connected. I am currently using the USB C power block, along with the HDMI output from my laptop. So far, everything is working as expected and is intuitive to setup. The only issue that I foresee and am still figuring out is connecting to bluetooth headphones while using the KYY display. It seems that HDMI audio must go through the KYY display only, havent discovered a way around having to use the displays audio port. Otherwise, I can continue learning and feel this is a good purchase in continuing my studies on udemy.
