> 3 day**Update after 6 weeks**: I am docking two stars, mostly because they never sent the missing cable (despite spending an hour dealing with customer support to get it ordered)... but also because the OSD software is super klunky/slow. This is still a really good monitor, but if I were to do it again Id probably spend the extra for the 950G variant. --- Works amazingly well, especially after a few minutes of the usual new monitor adjusting/configuring. Yes there are more expensive models out there, but I did a ton of research and feel like this hits the sweet spot for value/performance. - Mine arrived with no dead pixels, and the backlight bleed is minimal - mostly just in the lower right corner. (I hardly notice it, and only in really dark backgrounds.) - The curve on this is more subtle vs the Samsung gaming monitors, and I prefer this since I also use this monitor for work/office stuff too. - Colors look great, no matter what Im doing... gaming, working, movies. - Ive seen no ghosting/halo-ing or other weirdness during gaming. Response times are fantastic, and G-sync compatibility works perfectly in my experiences so far. (Im driving everything with a 3080 12Gb, so YMMV haha) - Games that support 21:9 look amazing! (And those that dont just have black bars on the side, and its no big deal at all.) - Watching movies shot in 21:9 is an incredible experience, especially with the slight curve! Combined with my studio monitors and a subwoofer, Ive suddenly got myself a great personal theater at my desk. Only a couple cons: - Mine was shipped without the USB-B to USB-A uplink cable, which is needed to make use of the monitors USB ports, update the OSD software, etc. (But they are sending me one now, so Im not docking the stars rating.) - The build quality feels kind of cheap, and everything is just basic black plastic. Neither pro/con: - I didnt use the included monitor stand, as I mounted mine on a VESA arm right out of the box. I will say it feels heavy/solid, though - but its also really ugly. (It looks like a boomerang made by Klingons, haha.)

Greater than one weekThis monitor is legit. Great for designing thanks to the color accurate IPS panel, great for gaming thanks to the low latency/high refresh rate, and its in a not-so gamery package. Theres some flare in the back, but youll more than likely have this against a wall where you wont see it. Easy to recommend, you wont find another monitor that checks this many boxes under $1000. My monitor unfortunately fell off a truck the first time I order. It was being transferred from Amazon to USPS. During that transit they somehow lost a giant monitor box.. Im a little mad not because I had to wait longer, but because I lost out on a great price drop on this monitor. Tip, choose the option to put this monitor inside a descete box during checkout. When I did that on my reorder, it came literally the next day without any hitch.

> 3 dayThis is the first “high end” monitor I’ve ever bought. I reviewed monitors for a long time, pulled the trigger on this one. I am replacing 2 22” 1080 VA 60hz panels and this thing is amazing. I highly recommend for anyone who is doing any type of content creation, works on their computer a lot. Only thing I would honestly change, but it’s not a common feature I don’t think, is a dedicated power button and a dedicated input switch toggle. But it’s not a deal breaker at all.

> 3 dayI read a lot of reviews and a lot of people said the bottom row of pixels are dead. Theyre not. Move your head down to eye level at that row. Theyre there. The issue is the viewing angles on this monitor. But theyre there. You can still see it at a normal seated level but its dim. Either way, I prefer this to my previous Samsung Odyssey gaming monitor. I have observed 0 pixel smear. I truly believe the Samsung brand upcharge is purely so they can market an inferior product.

> 3 dayMonitor width is complemented by the curvature which provides a wraparound viewing in 3D fashion.

> 3 dayI am coming from a 27” 16x9 Benq gaming monitor and was initially worried about the monitor feeling smaller due to the vertical screen size. Turns out a 35” ultra wide has the exact same vertical screen size as a 27” 16x9, the dimensions I read included the bezel which is smaller on this screen, so I have the same screen height plus a ton of added width. Second I read that the LG doesn’t have very high brightness, but , like with my LG OLED tv, brightness isn’t everything! The picture quality is outstanding and I don’t come even close to max brightness settings on the monitor. I don’t need any more than what it outputs. Third I worried about Gsync, but my computer immediately recognized it and it worked perfectly out of the box with no issues. Finally I was worried about dead pixels or other defects. I have no dead pixels or any other defects, it’s perfect. Super happy so far, will update after I use it for longer. Update 6 months - monitor is beautiful and is working flawlessly. Loving the option to add a ‘crosshair”, works great!

> 3 dayThis monitor is definitely a good deal for the price ($296). I bought two but had to return one because the screen was brighter on one side.

> 3 dayInitially I am impressed with this monitor. Performance is great, colors are great, the brightness is pretty good and the settings as always are awesome with LG Ultragear monitors. I have this hooked up to my Gaming PC, PS5, and Nintendo Switch. It works great to either take a 4K image or now that PS5 has 1440p support it also accepts that. There’s an option to adjust the aspect ratio for individual inputs so you can basically play at 4K or 1440p on an equivalent 27” in part of the screen on PS5 or Switch. But on my gaming PC this looks amazing using the full 3440x1440p resolution and 144hz with 10 bit color. Ghosting is almost non existent and gaming is really great on this monitor. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a pretty great Ultrawide monitor.
