I ordered this after hours of research on many different monitors. I decided to pull the plug on this. I’m glad I did, this monitor is great. The video quality is good and is excellent for gaming. I’m looking to purchase another soon.

These screens are great, but like all products, they have a limited lifespan. Get the extended warranty so you can enjoy your monitor a lot longer! 12/2020 - 10/2022

This is the first “high end” monitor I’ve ever bought. I reviewed monitors for a long time, pulled the trigger on this one. I am replacing 2 22” 1080 VA 60hz panels and this thing is amazing. I highly recommend for anyone who is doing any type of content creation, works on their computer a lot. Only thing I would honestly change, but it’s not a common feature I don’t think, is a dedicated power button and a dedicated input switch toggle. But it’s not a deal breaker at all.

TLDR: Love it IQ is amazing (Coming from an Acer Predator which some would argue has one of the better IPS panels available) hoping 21:9 becomes more widely accepted in games. I came form 2 27 monitors and def. prefer this. Wish USB Hub was on the side NOT the back but otherwise very happy with this purchase. Also wish this has at least a built in speaker but thats just a nitpick at this point. If you are looking at this monitor as a potential purchase, just do it and if you are on the fence about curved monitors hop off the fence and join in, I think it actually adds to immersion plus can save some space. Coming from a 27 Acer Predator XB271HU IPS monitor I was worried because I always thought the predator had one of the best looking IPS panels Ive seen and this is my first curved monitor. Image: For Gaming: Awesome Image Quality and color representation and contrast however be prepared for a lot of games not FULLY supporting 21:9. Most game menus and or cinematics will play with black boxes on the sides but this hopefully will change as this aspect ratio becomes more prevalent. Lastly even without overclocking this screen I have no ghosting. For Movies/Video: Again same issue as most content providers like Netflix, Amazon Prime etc. dont natively support 21:9 so you will have some black bars however you can use some browser addons such as Ultrawidify which will stretch the image to fit without cropping and to me it does not look bad.. HDR: Meh Windows HDR sucks, some games suppport it but most of the time with a few exceptions its not worth it and looks better without it turned on Build: I love the look and build quality looks solid but I gotta say the stand it comes with kinda sucks I thought the predator stand was much nicer. Up/Down Tilt Down (A little) Tilt Up (A Lot) it seems to tilt up a LOT further than it will tilt down which kind of sucks because it is sitting on a table higher than my but no biggie. Lastly and most importantly the USB hub on this doesnt seem very well thought out at least to me. I preferred my predator where it had the USB hub inputs on the left side. This monitor they are located on the back right by the video inputs and its much more of a hassle to quickly plug in/out something.

I am coming from a 27” 16x9 Benq gaming monitor and was initially worried about the monitor feeling smaller due to the vertical screen size. Turns out a 35” ultra wide has the exact same vertical screen size as a 27” 16x9, the dimensions I read included the bezel which is smaller on this screen, so I have the same screen height plus a ton of added width. Second I read that the LG doesn’t have very high brightness, but , like with my LG OLED tv, brightness isn’t everything! The picture quality is outstanding and I don’t come even close to max brightness settings on the monitor. I don’t need any more than what it outputs. Third I worried about Gsync, but my computer immediately recognized it and it worked perfectly out of the box with no issues. Finally I was worried about dead pixels or other defects. I have no dead pixels or any other defects, it’s perfect. Super happy so far, will update after I use it for longer. Update 6 months - monitor is beautiful and is working flawlessly. Loving the option to add a ‘crosshair”, works great!

This was an upgrade to my Viotek GNV34DBE ultrawide monitor. The performance to this monitor is very similar to the slightly more expensive 34GN850-B. One thing is that you do not get a USB uplink cable in the box; just the Displayport and power adapter. My monitor has one stuck pixel on the upper left which I cannot RMA because LG is stingy with how many stuck/dead pixels must be on the display to warrant a RMA. Picture quality is pretty good as it is an IPS. But because it is an IPS, especially a Nano IPS, it lacks contrast VA panels typically have. Its noticeable in dark environments such as night time, but I dont notice it that much during the day and I can live with it as I expect IPS displays to not have great contrast. The brightness this monitor can display is good enough for the most part, except in direct sunlight (but your mileage may vary). One thing for sure is the lack of black level smearing and inverse ghosting, which means more clear picture when in motion while playing video games. The 160 HZ option is nice to have, but not that amazing if youre coming from a 144 Hz montior. The inputs are ok, 2 HDMI 2.0 and 1 Displayport 1.4 (not 1.2 as I have found some people have said). Stick to Displayport please, as it is the only input that can support 144 hz and 160 hz. I have mounted this monitor with a monitor arm, so I got nothing to say about the stand. At the end of the day, this monitor is very good and is will be good enough until mid range GPUs can support 3440 x 1440 160 hz at max details, or until the warranty runs out and the monitor spontaneously dies.

Contrast and vibrancy is not as good as dell ultrasharp. However it still looks really nice and the price is unbeatable. The height adjustment works out well. I paired it will my 27 inch monitor and they are the same height

For the price of around $300, this was the most feature-packed monitor I could find. Decently high resolution with a high refresh rate, built-in speakers, FreeSync and an adjustable stand. My only complaint so far is that there is quite a bit of ghosting/color bleed when pixels change from dark to bright colors. I believe this is due to the VA panel. After a few days of use Ive gotten used to it, but it does make games with darker environments a little hard to play.

Initially I am impressed with this monitor. Performance is great, colors are great, the brightness is pretty good and the settings as always are awesome with LG Ultragear monitors. I have this hooked up to my Gaming PC, PS5, and Nintendo Switch. It works great to either take a 4K image or now that PS5 has 1440p support it also accepts that. There’s an option to adjust the aspect ratio for individual inputs so you can basically play at 4K or 1440p on an equivalent 27” in part of the screen on PS5 or Switch. But on my gaming PC this looks amazing using the full 3440x1440p resolution and 144hz with 10 bit color. Ghosting is almost non existent and gaming is really great on this monitor. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a pretty great Ultrawide monitor.

Immerse yourself in the action with this ultra-wide, WQHD Nano IPS curved monitor for gaming. See moving objects on the screen more clearly with a high overclocked* 160 Hz refresh rate and 1ms Motion Blur Reduction. AMD FreeSync Premium support virtually eliminates screen tearing and minimize stutter in high-resolution and fast-paced games for a fast and fluid gaming experience with supported video cards. Dynamic Action Sync reduces input lag and elevates your gameplay, allowing you to respond to your opponents quickly, while Black Stabilizer allows you to see them more clearly in the dark. Use the Crosshair feature for enhanced vision and precision in first-person shooters. Adjust the tilt, height, and pivot for the best ergonomics, ensuring that you have the most comfortable viewing position to play your games. *144Hz (O/C 160Hz) refresh rate for PC games only. Monitor will support console game"s refresh rate when AMD FreeSync is turned off, but only 60 Hz refresh rate only when AMD FreeSync is turned on
