> 3 dayI love this monitor especially at paying 300 dollars for it was a steal. My only complaint is the colors/brightness are very weak and hard to calibrate. My 1440 monitor thats 10+ years old has brighter colors and a crisper picture but Id still pick this monitor over it. UPDATE. Absolutely sucks for PS5 and doesnt display properly at all.

> 3 dayThe monitor that I am used to and use as a benchmark is a monitor from my MSI63 Stealth gaming laptop. It offers quite a powerful display even though it came out in 2018. Since then I upgraded to the Dell 34in Curved Monitor S3422DW. That was a big leap from my gaming laptop so going back from the dell to my MSI display to this was like discovering fire. The LG UltraGear QHD 34-Inch Curved Gaming Monitor is a top-of-the-line option for gamers seeking a high-quality, immersive gaming experience. The 34-inch curved display provides a wide field of view, making it easy to take in all the action on the screen. Perfect for FPS or 3rd person hack and slash games like Sekiro. The QHD resolution ensures that the images are crisp and clear, with vibrant colors and deep blacks. The monitors fast refresh rate and low input lag make for smooth and responsive gameplay. Gamers will enjoy a seamless experience, with no lag or stuttering. The curved design of the monitor also helps to reduce eye strain during extended gaming sessions. This makes the monitor not only a great gaming monitor but also ideal for work, streaming and other multi-media consumption. The monitor also has a variety of convenient features, such as on-screen control and multiple gaming presets. These options allow for easy customization and optimization of your gaming experience. Gamers can tailor the settings to suit their preferences and game types. Overall, this is a great gaming monitor that offers excellent performance, a host of useful features, and an immersive curved design that makes it a standout choice.

14-04-2025I am coming from a 27” 16x9 Benq gaming monitor and was initially worried about the monitor feeling smaller due to the vertical screen size. Turns out a 35” ultra wide has the exact same vertical screen size as a 27” 16x9, the dimensions I read included the bezel which is smaller on this screen, so I have the same screen height plus a ton of added width. Second I read that the LG doesn’t have very high brightness, but , like with my LG OLED tv, brightness isn’t everything! The picture quality is outstanding and I don’t come even close to max brightness settings on the monitor. I don’t need any more than what it outputs. Third I worried about Gsync, but my computer immediately recognized it and it worked perfectly out of the box with no issues. Finally I was worried about dead pixels or other defects. I have no dead pixels or any other defects, it’s perfect. Super happy so far, will update after I use it for longer. Update 6 months - monitor is beautiful and is working flawlessly. Loving the option to add a ‘crosshair”, works great!

> 3 day2k Resolution with curvy goodness and a little bit of love, this monitor brings out the immersion with its encapsulating curved monitor, it really does change the way you see your games, almost like a movie screen. Id recommend, though if you want duel or even triple monitor setup, youll need a beefy monitor mount arm, the default stand can be limiting, especially with how far out the stand sticks out to counter balance. Mostly the front legs would get in the way of keyboard placement, depending on how close you want the monitor, I have bad eyesight which compelled me to get a monitor arm. This products shipping was kinda up in the air, I was only told vaguely between three days thatd Id receive it, but it got delayed an extra five days but came one day after the original expected date. Besides that weirdness, would recommend!

> 3 dayI bought the LG 34GP83A as my first UW monitor a few days ago for $599. I upgraded from a 27 ASUS IPS panel. While I appreciated going from 27 to 34, the difference in gaming with a new 4090/13900K build wasnt worth the investment with another IPS. The poor contrast, vertical haloing, and corner IPS glow with this monitor just didnt feel like a step up. I purchased the AW3423DW for $1299 the day I hooked up my LG - Im never looking back. With Dells 3-year warranty to cover burn-in and defects with a brand new monitor, I felt this to be of better value given my total investment. Even though this monitor is half the cost, the warranty couldnt compete with Dell. Overall, if youre looking to upgrade from a 1080P monitor or perhaps an older display and have a mid-range build, you will be very happy with this monitor. However, for systems with a more expensive investment, you will be highly disappointed in the quality here compared to a QD OLED screen - consider this your bottleneck.

> 3 dayInitially I am impressed with this monitor. Performance is great, colors are great, the brightness is pretty good and the settings as always are awesome with LG Ultragear monitors. I have this hooked up to my Gaming PC, PS5, and Nintendo Switch. It works great to either take a 4K image or now that PS5 has 1440p support it also accepts that. There’s an option to adjust the aspect ratio for individual inputs so you can basically play at 4K or 1440p on an equivalent 27” in part of the screen on PS5 or Switch. But on my gaming PC this looks amazing using the full 3440x1440p resolution and 144hz with 10 bit color. Ghosting is almost non existent and gaming is really great on this monitor. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a pretty great Ultrawide monitor.

16-04-2025Im super happy with this monitor! I work in VFX and motion graphics, and I was looking for something I could use for work as well as gaming. Most of the options I was looking at were $1500+. I had to compromise a little on color, HDR, and resolution, but this is a HUGE night and day difference between my two old 27 1080s from 2014. I was using smaller I think 22 4K monitors in class, and it was difficult to see the UI in my software sometimes. Im kinda blind, so the pixel to inch ratio on this monitor is perfect for me. Everything worked right out of the box -- comes with a display port cable, did a dead pixel test and there were none. I dont play anything super intensive, lately just Persona 5 Strikers or Destiny 2, and everything has been running great on my gtx 1070. Im looking forward to upgrading my gpu now that I have a nice monitor! Most games do not seem to support ultrawide, so if black bars on the side bother you, than this monitor isnt for you. I barely notice them when Im playing games. Also, Netflix wont display at full resolution in Chrome; apparently you need to use the Windows store app or Microsoft Edge. None of this is marks against the monitor, just a note. The monitor has a pretty big stand, so if youre not mounting it, make sure you have enough room on your desk. I currently have a 27 monitor, this 34 monitor, my ps4, and my PC all on my desk and its a very tight squeeze, and my mousepad that runs along my desk slightly overlaps the feet. With such a large base, itd be pretty much impossible to use a monitor stand with it, but thankfully it already sits pretty tall and can be adjusted even taller still as it slides up and down. I think this is one of the best bang-for-your-buck ultrawide monitors out at the moment and Im very happy with my purchase!

> 3 dayWanted this for a couple years but didnt want to pay $800+. Snagged this for $599 on the Amazon sale recently and am very happy. Have owned a few other ips 165hz monitors and the colors on this one are great out of the box thankfully, dont like messing with settings too much. 160hz overclock works fine, leave it in the fast response setting. Havent tried HDR so cant comment. Great if you prefer colors that pop over contrast ratio. No dead pixels and your usual ips glow but this one is the best out of my other monitors. Once again from LG the provided DP cable is about 4 feet so if your computer isnt next to the monitor, consider buying a longer one. I bought one from Ivanky. I have the 32GN850 and I could never get the colors right but this ultrawide is good. I have a 3080 and havent noticed much dip in performance from my 32 and 27 inch 1440. Height adjustable and tilt, thats it. Was on the fence for a long time but glad I made the purchase
