just what I needed

I have tried a few different gessos, and sometimes its hard to find a good intermediate between thickness and opacity. This gesso is relatively thin while still being really opaque. I most recently used it to prep stretched fabric for acrylic paint and it worked really well, especially against the basics version (which had a yellower tint and required more layers). Not only is this really good for surface prep, but I also like to mix it with my lower quality acrylics to make it more opaque or mattify it. Great product that never lets me down!

It is as promised…….black gesso. What else can I say. Consistency is that of gesso. Goes on smooth and dries fairly quickly.

this is a gritty clear gesso, liquidy and just perfect to get a little tooth.

Everything excellent.
