> 3 dayIm a professional artist. This is by far the worst gesso I have ever used, including many cheap student-grade brands. It is incredibly runny, thin, and covers poorly. I have $1 bottles of crappy craft paint that have better viscosity. I understand that Liquitex also makes a thicker version of their gesso, but the other brands of professional gesso have been so thick I had to scoop them out with a knife and thin them down for my projects. I still prefer that over this alternative. Bottom line: a professional product should NOT be this thin. Save your money!

Greater than one weekDoes what it’s supposed to do. Primes your area well for painting on canvas and other mediums. Will buy another and going to try using it on glass and plastic too.

> 3 dayI’ve not used the super heavy gesso before but I think it’s going to be my new favorite. I was able to get a really nice smooth surface on my canvas. Also held texture really well on other canvases. Very happy with this- had to YouTube on how to open it though. Using exacto knife to remove tabs worked well

> 3 dayThis is my second bottle purchase. I like to use it on paint by numbers canvas whether it was treated by manufacturer or not. It primes the canvas making it easier to paint as acrylic paint tends to stick better to the canvas. Using clear gesso allows the numbers in the canvas to be seen so theres no problem painting. It does seems to damage the brush hair faster as gesso primed canvas tends to be a bit sandy, but I like it as it makes painting so much easier and faster.

> 3 dayThis clear gesso goes on quite nicely. The result is a clear finish with an almost sandpaper tooth. I prefer the tooth of this gesso over regular white gesso. I also use a foam roller to apply the product so there are no brush strokes. Excellent gesso!

> 3 dayWorks great with posca markers. I put on two things layers, but I think one would be sufficient too. Nice grit and doesnt wear down the nibs like painting directly on the canvas would. Got the clear, definitely want to get white down the line.

> 3 dayIf you are wanting some clear gesso to prep a canvas or watercolor paper for paint or pastels this will work. You can do a sketch under it and then paint over it. It has a gritty surface for your pastels. Watercolor paper actually feels like fine grit sandpaper after it dries. If you want it even more gritty you can mix in extra marble dust.

> 3 dayIt covered and accepted the regular paint. But is was way thinner in consistency than I was less to believe.
