> 3 dayThis stuff is fantastic. Straight out the bottle and Im getting the same results that I would out of a rattle can, without the concern about pooling, multiple light passes, airborne particles, or humidity. Just one medium application of this stuff took a white plastic miniature and turned it into a perfectly-primed and ready to paint mini. The bottle says to wait 24 hours for full drying, but the picture you see above is after at most 2.5 hours. Consider me pleased. No more having to test different can primers to make sure they have coverage or deal with awful fumes in my garage. This is the real deal!

13-06-2025I love GESSO. Its my favorite cover-up for things I want to push to the background. HOWEVER, this is CLEAR, so its more like a GLUE to me, but I love the clear. Pretty spendy glue, but you dont end up with sticky pages. Price will probably keep me from using it REGULARLY, but Id have to think twice about buying again, just due to price. I had not been able to find it local, so splurged. THE PRODUCT is GREAT.

> 3 dayUnfortunately, I thought this was white gesso and was initially disappointed to see that I had gotten clear. They need to do a better job of clarifying which option is which! That being said - I had some white acrylic paint and decided to add some to this before priming my miniatures and that turned out to be an excellent solution. It works really well and I will probably buy much more of this in the future. Its very gritty and leaves a texture on your work almost like fine sandpaper, so they do suggest sanding it if that bothers you, but for what I was painting it didnt bother me at all. People say gesso is so expensive and I tried making my own according to recipes found online, but they never worked so I decided to test the real thing instead. And, imo - its kind of expensive, but worth the expense to me because the homemade recipes were just clumpy crap. This is superior so - you get what you are willing to pay for.

> 3 dayIm not sure how this brand would do on canvas. I found it to be a bit watery when using on copper metal (if you plan to use for colored pencil jewelry). It took way more coats than it should have. However, it did leave a nice gray background.

Greater than one weekLove the product. Unfortunately, when I bought it this time it was damaged. Even though it was double boxed and they were undamaged, when I opened it the container was damaged and half of it was poured out!
