Its very cute and sturdy, easy to take apart and put together. Big enough for one small rat, no more.

I have two of these for my rats. This is better than the wooden houses. The wooden homes keep the urine smell contained even though I wash them every week. Its not good for rats to keep smelling urine because they can get upper respiratory infections very easily. The wooden homes take a long time to fully dry off after washing. These plastic space pods get washed everyday. I dry them off with paper towels then shred paper towels for them to use as bedding in the space pods. I wish I would have bought these a long time ago.

Used these for years with all of my rats and they love it, I always suspend it rather than sit it on the floor cause its one of the few homes that can easily attach to the top of a cage and be secure.

So as many people said their rats loved this thing, ours will not stay in it. They just dont seem to like it. Because of that Im horribly disappointed. Not the products fault of course, our boys just arent interested. Could be because they have soft hanging hammocks instead of this hard thing. Maybe if we took it down and set it in a shelf. I will try a few things to see how they do with it. But, so far, it just hangs there, empty and unused.

Every rat needs at least one of these! My four rats loved climbing in together, or making a nest with paper. Just make sure to reinforce with zip ties if you hang it from the top of a cage - the clips as-is are not strong enough. It fits nicely in a carrier, too, for a place to sleep during trips.

My rats love using this, I was worried because some of them are very distructive and love to chew up things but so far there is no bites and dents. I was also worried that it would not hold up at all and they might fall but 3 full grown male rats can fit inside of it and it was not fallen once.

This is by far my rats’ favorite cubby. They sleep in it regardless of where I move it in their enclosure. Easy to clean and room enough for two!

I have to angal it weirdly to hang it up and its still at risk for falling. I bought this for my 2 girl rats, its not really the most popular item in the cage. I recomend to just get a cardboard box and tie it to the top of the cage and replace it every so often.

My two rats love this orb! They love sleeping in it and hiding things in it. I clean it weekly with natures miracle small animal cleaner and it’s super easy. They don’t try to chew it.

Very cute. But I don’t trust to hang it in the top of my cage. The aqua tabs are not very long and barely stick through the wire of the cage. Too much weight might cause it to give way. However there is a hole in each tab through which I inserted a wire and attached iit that way. Also the tabs on the purple globe shaped piece are not very long. They fit through the aqua base but they barely stick out the other side - just enough to hold it in place but not quite as secure as I would want it to be.
