Lixit Critter Space Pod, Perfect for Small Animals (Small)

Very cute. But I don’t trust to hang it in the top of my cage. The aqua tabs are not very long and barely stick through the wire of the cage. Too much weight might cause it to give way. However there is a hole in each tab through which I inserted a wire and attached iit that way. Also the tabs on the purple globe shaped piece are not very long. They fit through the aqua base but they barely stick out the other side - just enough to hold it in place but not quite as secure as I would want it to be.

This is a fun alternative to the standard small animal igloo! Its a bit smaller than I was expecting and Im not sure my male rats will fit into it once theyre full grown but at 12 weeks two of them can cuddle up in it happily. Im not so sure I would hang it from the top of the cage as the clips are quite small and seem like they could pop off if your pets moved around a lot or got in and out of it quickly. But if you plan on keeping it at ground level its excellent!

Cons: - it came a day late even after saying it would be there the day before by 8pm. - Its very unsturdy if you use it the way te picture is. Its way better if you hang it upside down so the bottom doesnt fall out since it literally just sits in it. - Its not made for my cage specifically. I had to ziptie the 3rd leg since I couldnt get it through the bars. Pros: - It is big enough for my two adult male rats. Im sure you could fit at least one more in it with them. - My rats do love it! It took them about 5 minutes to realize it was there and thst have been in and out of it since I put it in last night. All in all of recommend it.

Im still trying to decide whether my rats love this or not, but I have seen them in it a few times and I think it is so cute. I ordered the small first, but it is REALLY small! This size is a lot more suited to my two month old rats, and I love that you can hang it up or set it down. Its a good accessory if you have the right sized cage.

My rats absolutely LOVE this product! I have 2 of them and they are my rats favorite sleeping area. I like that you can either hang on stand these up, it just adds a little bit of variety to your cage. And they are very sturdy, I never worry about them falling. Three of my rats have slept in 1 pod together and it held strong! You can add some soft bedding or not, either way they seem to be comfortable! Oh, and its easy to clean so good for us critter owners! I would say definitely get one of these items for your critter, theyll feel spoiled and safe!

Whenever I walk to the cage, at least one of my rats is always in it. By far their favorite item in the cage. Its easy to clean and can be used as both one item or two

We bought this for our sons new rats. They LOVE it. Its pretty adorable to see all three of them (6 weeks old) piled up and snuggled in together inside of here. They will pop their heads out of the holes, begging for head scratches or treats. Super fun!

I don’t know what it is about this thing, but the rats absolutely love it. It is their chosen place to sleep, snuggle, and hang out. It is easy to hang in the cage and easy to clean.

Bought this for my 3 pet rats and if I would ever recommend something thats worth every cent would be this. I rarely ever see them sleeping anywhere else because its attached to the top and all three of my 4 month olds can fit.

My girls are so picky when it comes to hammocks. They will not sleep in any other hammock but their original favorite. But this one was a hit practically right away! They are so sweet all sleeping together! My girls really love to to be covered when they rest so this is just perfect for them.
