> 3 dayWe got one after seeing our neighbors and were so pleased with it that we bought another one so that we can have one for upstairs and one for downstairs. Its great for pulling out to do a quick clean up but is durable enough for doing regular cleaning. Works well on hardwood and tile floors and picks up on carpets as well. Its lightweight making it possible for anyone to use it and its size doesnt take up a lot of space to store. The filter is easy to clean so maintenance is simple. Overall highly recommended!

> 3 dayIts a pretty good little vacuum, for the price, size and weight it has pretty good suction and the Makita swappable battery makes it easy for longer use. Two things, the down tube is pretty short so if youre taller than about 56 you have to hunch over to vacuum. Not a biggie. My reason for 3 stars overall is - it has 4 little roller wheels on the bottom of the vac head and they snap in place with little metal axel rods. When you transition from carpet to hardwood or roll across tile with grout cracks, the rollers come out. Frequently. The roller wheel is easy to find, the little metal axel rod is harder to find depending on your flooring. I own two different models of this thing - one of the white ones and one of the blue ones and both have the same defect.

> 3 dayMy husband recently expressed a wish for a small vacuum, not for major jobs but for the periodic pick up jobs that we all have from time to time - orzo spilled across the kitchen floor, for example. He was particularly impressed that this vac was made by Makita, a favorite line of tools in his construction business. We ordered this in mid-July, received it on Aug 1, and it slipped out of the return window at the end of August. Now, on September 13, he has used it enough that it needed to be emptied. Emptying this little vac created such a mess on the floor that he had to vacuum it up with a larger vacuum. He finds the process of emptying this little vac so unpleasant that he wants, badly, to return it. He is one of those folks we all know who can figure anything out, but this process is simply too difficult. I would volunteer to empty it for him when he vacuums, but he reminds me that he is vacuuming to protect my asthma and allergies, which would be triggered by vacuuming, let alone a dusty emptying routine. We have spent thousands with Amazon over the years, and nearly never return anything, but the difficulty of emptying this vacuum warrants an attempt. Alas, we will now have to throw ourselves on the mercy of Makita.

> 3 dayI keep asking myself why I didnt invest in this vacuum sooner. I have a few Makita tools, and several Makita XLT batteries and thought I would try the vacuum to help keep my skylight screens clean. I have since found many more uses for the vacuum. It is light in weight, compact in size, but has nice suction power. I find myself using it on my hardwood and tile floors daily since I have 2 dogs that are constantly shedding. It makes vacuuming the main area of my home fast and easy. It performs as expected from a Makita product.

> 3 dayWith a 4 amp battery, this vacuum will go a long time. The dust cup is easy to clean and the tool is balanced about right. Good suction. Sadly, my wife has seized possession of this vacuum. Overall, this is a keeper.

> 3 dayI bought this in 2019 and have used it every day, now in 2023 and it’s just as powerful as the day I bought it. It works great with the cyclonic attachment. I’m now hopeful Makita will come out with a Hepa version.

> 3 dayI have a German Shepherd whose sole purpose in life is to generate loose fur. This thing helps keep her fur-drifts down between dragging out the Shark for deep cleaning sessions. The 2ah batter that comes with it is adequate, but I swapped it into my tool bag and put one of my spare 5ah batteries on this unit. The run time is greatly improved, and it seems to run at a little higher RPM with the bigger pack. Do yourself a favor and order a spare set of the cloth filters. Its a pain to clean the one that comes with it when youre in a hurry. I put the dirty ones in a zip-up lingerie bag and run them through the wash with my towels

> 3 dayLove this vacuum. Its perfect for small areas and quick pick ups. That would be why I bought 3. One for my trailer, one for for home and a new one for my new home coming soon.
