This is my 2nd Max and Neo Leash because I loved the first one so much! Now both dogs look great on our walkies. Update: I filled out the contact form on their website to tell them about my issue, and they sent me a replacement with just the order number and my address. Well obviously need to keep an eye on the new clasp, but getting such a quick and free replacement led me to bump up their score from 2 to 4 stars. Original review: Its generally very sturdy and comfortable to hold, but twice in the past week, our dog has accidentally worked her way out of it. The clasp appears to weaken, creating a small opening that a jumpy dog can work their way out of.

The first time I received a max and neo product was when I fostered my dog 2.5 years ago. Since then I’ve recommended it to friends and have gotten this leash, since it was a bit longer than the one I received. The handles are really comfortable to hold and it’s good quality. Plus your purchase helps the shelters receive collars, leashes, etc.

Best leash ever. Our former German Shepherd/boxer/pit mix did great with this leash. Wonderful for short leash walking. We have a new puppy on the 4ft double handle leash and she does great on it. Super sturdy and the right portions for double handle leash walking. That fact that Max & Neo gives another leash to a rescue is A wonderful Bonus.

I freaking love this leash. I have a few other leashes and this is by far my most used! I like the shorter handle for training my dog not to pull on the leash and walk next to me, but Ill occasionally use the long end when she wants to sniff something. I have a fearful aggressive dog that wants to meet everybody and every dog and chase every squirrel so its important to pull her back when she growls or the situations escalate and this leash has held up to lots of holding back and a very strong dog! She stands probably about a little over a foot tall and the short handle allows her to walk about 6 inches in front of me max, so just something to consider if youre buying this for a small, low to the ground dog!

I ordered this leash for my dog. The leash looks nice and is comfortable to hold. However, after 1 week, the leash tore near the bottom clip. I thought it was a defect and returned the item for a replacement of the same item. The second leash just tore in the same spot, 2 days outside of the return window. My dog is only 35 lbs, is not a puller or a chewer so I know its not our fault. After inspecting the tear, I can physically see the material separating itself. Im honestly quite sad about this because I love the way the leash looks and feels. But 2 leashes in a row that have torn at the same place within just a couple of weeks, that stinks, especially since I can longer return it. At the rate the tear is progressing, Id expect it to last another week, tops. :(

I love all the Max and Neo products but this might be my favorite. I have a puller and while we were on manners the lower loop of the leash is a life saver. It allows me to control the pupbin crowds, crossing the street, or just getting put the door without her charging through it. Nothing takes the place of good training bit this leash allows for good control and good habits. Construction is solid. The neoprene padding in the handles is a nice touch!

My dog loves it. She thinks she the snizzle! The bright pink color lets everyone know shes NO boy! Bonus points for being refective in the dark for safety. Just buy one its a cool leash and the company helps animals.

I absolutely love both items. The collar and leash work great together and has made walking my dog easier.
