> 24 hourThis was a decent briefcase, until the strap broke because of the cheap metal that they used in order to save a few cents. Update: They have replaced the strap. Still, its disconcerting that Ive only had this bag for about 3 months and its already showing some wear and tear.

> 24 hourThis bag was purchased primarily to serve as a laptop bag for day-to-day operations, but it recently underwent strenuous activity on a 2.5-week vacation to Europe. The bag was a great fit for my 17.3-inch HP laptop, and it also fit a handful of magazines, an iPod, Kindle Fire, all accompanying cords, several outlet converters and a host of other items. But the best part was when we started stuffing it. As the trip progressed, our bags got heavier and heavier with items we were bringing back. This ended up serving as an additional piece of luggage, full of clothing, souvenirs and many other items in addition to what was listed above. The heavy-duty zippers withstood the punishment just fine, and the thick padding ensured that everything was safe. And my laptop? It was safe and sound in its own compartment (check-point friendly) which is offset in such a way that even if you stuff the bag, the laptop section is unaffected. I highly recommend this bag.

> 24 hourI bought this for my Alienware M17xr4. Many of the reviews were talking about how big this is, and how there is soo much extra space that they wont use... I have the opposite feeling. Once I load up the laptop, the charger, mouse pad, mouse, and xbox controller, there is almost no room to put anything else in. and the only non requirement that Im packing is the xbox controller. There are tons of unused pockets, but the whole bag feels super full and tight with just these few items packed. I am very mindful of the force that the bag is exerting on the top of the laptops screen. I feel that if I were to cram more in the bag there would be too much force on the top of the screen. The middle section of the bag has filing dividers which is where I stick the mouse pad. The front section has pockets that fit the mouse and charger, the controller fits in this big pocket. The pocket on the front of the bag is useless as it is too tight. The shoulder strap seems alright. Also, other reviews talk about how great the laptop protection is, but I feel quite the opposite. The laptop is in this clear tough pocket with seems to scuff the outside of the laptop with normal use. Also, I am not impressed with the amount of padding around the laptop. I believe that even an accidental drop of about 1 to 2 feet from your hand could damage the laptop with this minimal protection. Also if you stack anything on this bag your laptop screen could be smashed, especially if the pockets are loaded up, so keep it on your person, dont trust anyone else with this bag. I find it a little difficult to get my laptop in and out of the bag, I really dont like the laptop holding pocket, feels like junk. I wish there was an actual padded pocket for the laptop, instead you have a little pouch that is not padded. This is just my opinion. It does fit all of my stuff, just dont think that you will have all the storage in the world available to you, which is what some of the other reviews make it sound like. I bought this new, but still pretty cheap. I recommend getting this at a discount.

> 24 hourI purchased this bag 9 1/2 months ago through Amazon. It seemed nice and durable with enough compartments to hold all of my accessories and my 17 Macbook Pro, which fit nicely. The zipper on the middle compartment started to separate from the case a few weeks ago and then rapidly got worse (this is with moderate use). It is at the point where I can no longer slide the zipper-pull as it gets stuck where it is coming apart, rendering that compartment useless. Called Alienware customer service (India) and was informed that the warranty was not in effect. I said its a lifetime warranty. After putting me on hold for a few minutes, she told me that if I had purchased it directly through them, MAYBE there would be something they could do (how convenient). I contacted Amazon and explained the situation and mentioned the lifetime warranty which is clearly noted in the item description. She agreed and gave me the option of having a replacement sent or a refund. Hmmmmm, should I go with Alienware again? No way in H-E-double hockey sticks. Dont be fooled by the high ratings, I attribute that to premature reviews (due to well-meaning customers who havent had the product long enough for the bag to reveal its flaws). As usual, Amazon continues to deliver - 5 stars for them, 1 for the bag.

> 24 hourI love this bag. I needed to find something to fit my 17.3: Asus ROG laptop and nothing i could find fit the bill. This bag has room for everything. Its amazing how much stuff you can store inside it. I highly recommend this bag! Edit: Feb 2016, - After owning this bag for awhile it mostly held up the test of time however the shoulder strap did not. The straps themselves held up ok but you always have to adjust them. The shoulder pad came apart at the seams. Going to have to get a better shoulder pad for this. Update May 2016 - The bag itself has begun to fray badly around the zipper and it is tearing badly where the shoulder harness attaches to the case. After using this bag for the past many months I have opted to go with a different bag. Look for Everki brand bags. The titan is the one I went with and i love it. This bag i had to retire as it is literally falling apart at the seams after months of daily use. Not to mention travelling with this thing was horrible. Lugging it on my shoulder through the airport was an exercise in irritation. I will recommend that you do NOT buy this bag. I will add photos later today showcasing the extent of the damage from normal daily use. I gave it two stars because I did like it initially but now I couldnt be more glad that I no longer need it.

> 24 hourI like the bag ok but it blows my mind that someone makes an alienware bag for alienware laptops and they used a quarter inch less materials than it needed. The laptop fits but its tight, a lot tighter than it needs to be. I am keeping the bag but in time I will be looking for a slightly bigger bag or hope they redesign this one to be that tiny bit bigger. Other than being tight for the laptop, it has an excellent amount of room for a notebook, passport, pens, and power supply etc. Maybe it will stretch a little with use, I can hope.

> 24 hourI needed to replace my old travel notebook bag. I love Alienware, so why not get a bag with the famous badge on it. I was skeptical because my old bag was big and carried a lot of stuff. This bag is smaller, but holds all of my field equipment I need aid customers. The overall quality of the bag is very good too. I have the best of both worlds. I highly recommend. This not for people who own Alienware equipment. I carry my MSI rig in it and it looks awesome.
