There arent many bags out there that fit the 17 M17x laptop. This is sturdy and well built and fits the laptop perfectly. It also has room for other accessories, paper, a notebook, etc. There are many pockets for pens, USB drives, etc. However, the hooks/handles where the shoulder strap attaches to the bag seem slightly flimsy and squeak when carried.

This bag looks great and seemed to be of solid construction when I first got it. With what Id consider medium use and very light travel duty (as a carry on) the stitching attaching one side of the handle completely ripped free. I had a tailor restitch it with heavy duty thread and its fine again now. Padding does protect my Alienware and the various compartments are well laid out and useful. I wouldnt steer anyone away from this bag neccessarily but its not a must have either if you can find another bag that will suit your purposes.

Good quality

The ordering and quality of this item was great. Fast delivery and great quality. However, I had received this item as a gift from someone before I received the one I ordered. I am now trying to return the one I bought on Amazon.com and cannot seem to get a RMA in order to return it. Its been 8 dys since I received it and 4 dys since I asked, via e-mail, for an RMA. I have yet to receive it. This company is not too helpful when it comes to returns. And for this, they will dock me $15.00 for my trouble.

Good because it’s a rare item from the size

I hate to be giving this bag a 1 Star review because it is the best laptop bag Ive ever owned. Ive always had trouble finding a good 17 inch bag for my laptops, but this one is perfect. With that said, here is why Im giving it one star: I bought this bag on May 13 of 2015. On May 8 of 2016 (less than a year later) I noticed that the handles were coming off. The stitching that ties the handles and the bag together are not strong. I have not used this bag for heavy travel. This bag is basically used during my commute from home to work and back. I use it twice a day. Once to go to work, and one to go home. If using this bag twice a day for less than a year destroys its straps, I can only imagine what will happen in a few more years. So I contacted Alienware. After 10 minutes on hold I was met by a kind Indian named Wayne (cute isnt it?), who kindly told me that Dell doesnt have a warranty on this product. Despite the fact that it says Lifetime Warranty right there on the listing. Nope. Dell/Alienware took zero responsibility and then told me to contact Amazon. Luckily Amazon knows what its doing. It knows to appreciate the business of someone who has been a Prime member from the start. They admitted that it says Lifetime Warranty right there and agreed to send me a new bag. So if you want a good bag, this one is great! I just hope you dont need customer support from Alienware after the fact. If you do, dont bother: call Amazon instead.

I bought this bag for my husband for Xmas. He loves the design as its big enough for his 17 laptop and a few accessories but still small enough to fit under airplane seats. Unfortunately one of the handles came loose on his first business trip because the stiching came undone at the seam. Since I ordered it at the end of November and his first trip was the end of January, I was concerned about how to arrange an exchange. I first tried Alienware (Dell) who promptly told me I didnt mean anything to them if I didnt have a Dell invoice. Then I contacted Amazon Customer Service and got a very helpful woman who quickly arranged for the return and replacement. While its too bad that the quality of the first bag wasnt up to par, I am thankful for Amazons excellent service and Im hopeful that the next bag will hold up better for my husband. Thank you Amazon! (5 star service with a 4 star product)

Perfect for some on the go and travel through airports.

I purchased this bag for my Dell XPS laptop which is also a 17.3 screen.. the bag fits perfectly and have plenty of space for other things like power brick, mouse, etc.. and also things you would carry with you traveling or even back and forth from work. Quality of bag is great and everything. Price on Amazon is much better than buying direct from Dell.
