great brand product but more suited if you are carrying more components , if ony carry the laptop a smaller bag with similar cushion is better

I purchased this bag 9 1/2 months ago through Amazon. It seemed nice and durable with enough compartments to hold all of my accessories and my 17 Macbook Pro, which fit nicely. The zipper on the middle compartment started to separate from the case a few weeks ago and then rapidly got worse (this is with moderate use). It is at the point where I can no longer slide the zipper-pull as it gets stuck where it is coming apart, rendering that compartment useless. Called Alienware customer service (India) and was informed that the warranty was not in effect. I said its a lifetime warranty. After putting me on hold for a few minutes, she told me that if I had purchased it directly through them, MAYBE there would be something they could do (how convenient). I contacted Amazon and explained the situation and mentioned the lifetime warranty which is clearly noted in the item description. She agreed and gave me the option of having a replacement sent or a refund. Hmmmmm, should I go with Alienware again? No way in H-E-double hockey sticks. Dont be fooled by the high ratings, I attribute that to premature reviews (due to well-meaning customers who havent had the product long enough for the bag to reveal its flaws). As usual, Amazon continues to deliver - 5 stars for them, 1 for the bag.

a bit big and heavy but great pockets for travel and overnight pack. a bit ridge and wide for my taste, but I like to travel light.

I really like the bag, its decently comfortable for someone like me who likes to carry my laptop to school with everything else. My biggest complaint is that the stitching for the inside if the bag is very week. I read reviews about the stitching tearing but I decided to try it for myself. The stitching in my bag was exposed in under a week of having the bag. I would have returned it but due to issues in the past with returning defective (or bad) items I have purchased online, I decided to just keep the bag I payed so much money for even thought it cropped on me in under a week..

I was Leary of purchasing this from someone other than Dell but so happy when I purchased it, and it arrived quickly, as promised. IT was packaged well so that there was no chance of damage during shipping. The Quality of the zippers and the whole bag is super fantastic. I like how sturdy this is and you can see the quality just by looking at it. Touching it you totally feel happy with the cost. I have seen so many bags from other places that are so expensive yet the quality is awful. I trust this bag to hold my Alienware lap top and little electronics with no fear of damage. Totally another purchase I am impressed with and I have no problem purchasing from them again.

Its suppose to fit a 17.5 inch Alienware lap top but it doesnt. The back part of the lap top is a little wider and its a very tight fit when I put it in the bag.

Great case, fits everything and leaves room for power supply and mouse. Was the second bag I ordered for my 17.3 Alienware, this one is absolutely perfect. *****UPDATE****** This is a great bag, but I am VERY disappointed that the stitching on the strap and shoulder pad has started to come apart and unravel, rendering it useless. Now I see that I cannot exchange the bag due to it being 35 days since purchase. Thats too bad, this is not a cheap bag, this bag is built FOR an Alienware which is not a light computer. Therefore it should be built to withstand the weight of the laptop. The only things my husband carries in the bag are the laptop, power supply, mouse, and Bose Earbuds. Whats even worse, is that my husband was out of town for over three weeks of the 35 days and couldnt have possibly sent the bag back or done anything while flying city to city. Im just not happy over this situation.

I love this bag. I needed to find something to fit my 17.3: Asus ROG laptop and nothing i could find fit the bill. This bag has room for everything. Its amazing how much stuff you can store inside it. I highly recommend this bag! Edit: Feb 2016, - After owning this bag for awhile it mostly held up the test of time however the shoulder strap did not. The straps themselves held up ok but you always have to adjust them. The shoulder pad came apart at the seams. Going to have to get a better shoulder pad for this. Update May 2016 - The bag itself has begun to fray badly around the zipper and it is tearing badly where the shoulder harness attaches to the case. After using this bag for the past many months I have opted to go with a different bag. Look for Everki brand bags. The titan is the one I went with and i love it. This bag i had to retire as it is literally falling apart at the seams after months of daily use. Not to mention travelling with this thing was horrible. Lugging it on my shoulder through the airport was an exercise in irritation. I will recommend that you do NOT buy this bag. I will add photos later today showcasing the extent of the damage from normal daily use. I gave it two stars because I did like it initially but now I couldnt be more glad that I no longer need it.

I have had this for about a month now, its definitely worth the price. The Alien emblem is pretty cool in the front since it is unique. I work in a desert so its been through some harsh conditions and so far It has given me no problems when it comes the material tearing off or anything like that. Very happy with this product!
