This is a great laptop bag and i Love it! True, It is a bit on the big size ( think small suitcase size ), but has so MANY pockets and alcoves to stash all my stuff into! It has a lot of extra cushioning all around for outstanding protection! The handles & adjustable shoulder strap is very comfortable having extra Cushioning even when overloaded & the shoulder strap clips are heavy duty for extra strength !! It has 3 large sections each with its own solid and heavy duty zippers ( which i have indeed stressed to near limits often enough ) and plenty of extra storage room. It is large enough to carry my HP 17 in pavilion laptop, the power adapter and much, much more! It has 2 top carry handles with extra strong stitching and the whole case is very sturdy in appearance. Yes, it is a bit on the big side, but after alot of searching & proven usage, i am very glad i purchased this bag! I have packed it FULL to overflowing everyday, back & forth to work, twice a day for over 3 straight years now, carrying my laptop & accessories back & forth to work and it is just now starting to show signs of being almost ready to begin planning on replacing it ! ...As i start my search for a replacement for it, honestly, it is very likely that i will just go right on out & buy another one to replace it...Why on earth would i not! I give this bag 5+ Stars without hesitation !

This is a very nice high quality bag designed specifically for the Alienware m17x. It has lots of pockets for everything you can carry. The build quality is very good and details like the alien heads on the zipper tabs are a nice touch. The only critique I can make about this bag is that the laptop compartment is a little tight making it difficult to get the computer in and out easily, but this is also due to the size and weight of the laptop itself. I recommend this bag if you own a m17x.

Just fits my Alienware 17 laptop. Love it. Its a tight fit and the case has lots of extra pockets for the power supply and accessories like my mouse and mouse pad.

I bought this bag for my husband for Xmas. He loves the design as its big enough for his 17 laptop and a few accessories but still small enough to fit under airplane seats. Unfortunately one of the handles came loose on his first business trip because the stiching came undone at the seam. Since I ordered it at the end of November and his first trip was the end of January, I was concerned about how to arrange an exchange. I first tried Alienware (Dell) who promptly told me I didnt mean anything to them if I didnt have a Dell invoice. Then I contacted Amazon Customer Service and got a very helpful woman who quickly arranged for the return and replacement. While its too bad that the quality of the first bag wasnt up to par, I am thankful for Amazons excellent service and Im hopeful that the next bag will hold up better for my husband. Thank you Amazon! Quality all the way around this product.

Nice bag for ALienware laptop, little small for all other equipment. Can fit laptop, travel mouse, mouse pad, paper pad, 1 large school book, some pens and paper, and a backup tape, the charger cables, and a PDA. The pockets and deep and tight and the dividers are soft so they tend to fold over. It does ok for my needs and looks nice but I wish it was a little bigger or roomier in the over pockets so i could access my stuff easier.

The case is built very sturdy and has a place for everthing I need

I ruminated long and hard over the purchase of a bag. I decided on this on the recommendation of my grandson. It is perfect. It is well padded, has tons of room for my 17.3 inch computer and cooling pad, plus the cord, mouse, several notebooks, files, etc. It is a really nice looking bag as well. It is also relatively light. I recommend this bag highly.

This bag is legitimate. I needed it for my new alienware m17x and it fits the bill perfectly. It can fit the computer, of course, a gaming mouse, the ac adapter for the computer, a mouse pad, and other various cords. Its a slick bag made for giant laptops. I love it. And also, its $70 on here, rather then the ridiculous $100 on dell. Its worth it.

I like it well enough that I just bought a 3rd one. If you have a large heavy laptop, this is the case. Once a TSA agent knocked the bag with the laptop to the ground, no damage to the laptop or any of the other items in the bag, even though it fell more than 4 feet to the ground off the top of one of their testing machines.
