09-06-2025I love it. Granted, Ill look like a superannuated nerd when carrying this bag on vacation, but its big enough and organized enough to carry my 17.3 laptop, camera, all the accessories, the usual carry-on items, and all the necessities from my purse. What a joy it will be to lug only one item onto the plane. The bag seems to be very well made and Im not anticipating problems, but will update the review if any issues arise.

Greater than one weekI have had this for about a month now, its definitely worth the price. The Alien emblem is pretty cool in the front since it is unique. I work in a desert so its been through some harsh conditions and so far It has given me no problems when it comes the material tearing off or anything like that. Very happy with this product!

Greater than one weekAs we all know going through the airport checkpoints can be a hassle, juggling everything you have to take out or off, so anything to help with that process is worth it. The butterfly checkpoint section is great and helped expedite the process. Overall the bag seems very durable and plenty big enough for my large computer, portable keyboard, and paperwork. I only wish this size came with wheels.

> 3 dayAt first I was pretty excited about this bag, especially how sleek it looked. When it arrived, I noticed it was ripped in the back. I guess I could have lived with it, but when I tried it on it was way too big and floppy with just a few things in it like a book, a binder and various school items. Once I put my 17 laptop in it it was just over sized and cumbersome. Testing it out walking in the house it was BANG BANG BANG against my hip and back. Cant imagine thats good for a laptop. Also its a little chintzy on padding in some crucial spots. Looks cool, but not very practical if you want to travel very far. Decided too many cons to forgive the damage which would surely rip further in a short time. Back to Amazon it goes. I will be buying another bag.

> 3 dayI purchased this bag 9 1/2 months ago through Amazon. It seemed nice and durable with enough compartments to hold all of my accessories and my 17 Macbook Pro, which fit nicely. The zipper on the middle compartment started to separate from the case a few weeks ago and then rapidly got worse (this is with moderate use). It is at the point where I can no longer slide the zipper-pull as it gets stuck where it is coming apart, rendering that compartment useless. Called Alienware customer service (India) and was informed that the warranty was not in effect. I said its a lifetime warranty. After putting me on hold for a few minutes, she told me that if I had purchased it directly through them, MAYBE there would be something they could do (how convenient). I contacted Amazon and explained the situation and mentioned the lifetime warranty which is clearly noted in the item description. She agreed and gave me the option of having a replacement sent or a refund. Hmmmmm, should I go with Alienware again? No way in H-E-double hockey sticks. Dont be fooled by the high ratings, I attribute that to premature reviews (due to well-meaning customers who havent had the product long enough for the bag to reveal its flaws). As usual, Amazon continues to deliver - 5 stars for them, 1 for the bag.

Greater than one weekI had this same item previously for more than 5 years. I had to replace it because it was worn due to a lot of trips taken. Nothing was broken or tore. I looked for so many other options, finally I decided to replace it by the same model. I think the newer model has more features than previous and it feels stronger. I fully recommend this item to others. One warning, this is for 17.3 LapTops and it is big if you want a slimmer version.

> 3 dayI am more than pleased with my purchase. This bag is a lot more than I thought it would be, but it should be for the price tag. Tons of pockets and different storage options. I can honestly say bag did not see much use before I upgraded to the m18x r2 and had to get a new case (maybe 3 months worth of taking to class/friends house 3-5 days a week). Bag does offer a pretty good level of protection, dropped bag TWICE with laptop, charger, mouse, PS vita, and a Nintendo DS from about 3 ft and the 2nd time about 5 feet. Not even a scratch on the bag. I also like the carrying strap, much more comfortable then most bags I have owned in the past. Pros: Lightweight, great quality material, great quality zipper/zipper pulls, tons of different pockets and storage options, airport/check friendly, protective, sleek head turner Cons: Price, very front pocket, while handy, seems a little small, laptop is slightly loose if nothing else is placed into bag

> 3 dayI bought this for my Alienware M17xr4. Many of the reviews were talking about how big this is, and how there is soo much extra space that they wont use... I have the opposite feeling. Once I load up the laptop, the charger, mouse pad, mouse, and xbox controller, there is almost no room to put anything else in. and the only non requirement that Im packing is the xbox controller. There are tons of unused pockets, but the whole bag feels super full and tight with just these few items packed. I am very mindful of the force that the bag is exerting on the top of the laptops screen. I feel that if I were to cram more in the bag there would be too much force on the top of the screen. The middle section of the bag has filing dividers which is where I stick the mouse pad. The front section has pockets that fit the mouse and charger, the controller fits in this big pocket. The pocket on the front of the bag is useless as it is too tight. The shoulder strap seems alright. Also, other reviews talk about how great the laptop protection is, but I feel quite the opposite. The laptop is in this clear tough pocket with seems to scuff the outside of the laptop with normal use. Also, I am not impressed with the amount of padding around the laptop. I believe that even an accidental drop of about 1 to 2 feet from your hand could damage the laptop with this minimal protection. Also if you stack anything on this bag your laptop screen could be smashed, especially if the pockets are loaded up, so keep it on your person, dont trust anyone else with this bag. I find it a little difficult to get my laptop in and out of the bag, I really dont like the laptop holding pocket, feels like junk. I wish there was an actual padded pocket for the laptop, instead you have a little pouch that is not padded. This is just my opinion. It does fit all of my stuff, just dont think that you will have all the storage in the world available to you, which is what some of the other reviews make it sound like. I bought this new, but still pretty cheap. I recommend getting this at a discount.
