> 24 hourSince this is the 3rd time I have ordered this well designed grab bar and toilet paper holder over the past 6 years, I obviously think it’s an excellent product. I had no problem adding the wooden blocks when mounting the item to my new bathroom cabinet next to the toilet. Since it was mounted on the side of the cabinet where the drawers were located, I just made sure the mounting blocks were of an appropriate dimension so as not to prevent the drawers from sliding smoothly.

> 24 hourThis is really strong. Because of the way my (tiny) bathroom is laid out & the major leg surgery I had, I have to pull on it horizontally (i.e. like I am pulling it out straight out of the wall) to get up from the toilet. Not sure if it was designed to take that much pulling force in that direction, but it feels rock solid. The toggle screws that hold it to drywall are the biggest ones I have ever seen & have an ingenious design. The only reason I gave it a 4 star rating was a) it required a 1 1/4” (not sure of size) hole saw & I couldn’t find one in the garage, so a trip to Ace hardware & b) once you have drilled the holes with the hole saw, there’s not much play in the mounting brackets to allow for adjusting to width or level. So you have to be spot on for cutting the holes. Mine is a very tiny bit off level, but not at all noticeable. I just need to make sure I dont leave a torpedo level lying around in the bathroom—wouldnt want a guest to check my work ;-) BTW, It’s bigger than I thought it would be from the pictures; barely had enough clear wall space to install it in my tiny bathroom. A roll of toilet paper looks sort of lost on it, but I appreciate the size when I have to grab it

> 24 hourThis is the third house we have moved to and I have ordered this one every time I have moved. I provides an attractive solution for needing a grab bar and tissue holder in one

> 24 hourStrong yet beautiful - a great combination! As we age, getting up and down requires more effort. This combo toilet tissue holder and grab bar is just the thing! It allows us to have a grab bar that is stylish yet strong. The 8 inch bracket spacing means only one of the mounting brackets can be supported by a stud. The drywall adapters provided looked very nice and strong but the rating is 250 pounds, and I weight 235. I figured I would not tempt things so I attached a piece of maple 1X4 to the studs and attached this bar to the 1X4. It doesnt give a bit when I use it to stand up. I will be putting one of these in for my mother-in-law when I visit her later this year.

> 24 hourMy wife needs a little help getting up. But the frames that fit around the toilet are for people who need to push up - my wife needs something to pull on. This product is exactly what she needed, and it doesnt standout as an assistance device - it looks nice in our bathroom. Installation wasnt difficult once I bought the right hole saw. But you need to be careful in removing the tab which sets the anchors in the wall. I broke the tab on the first anchor and had to go buy a SecureMount kit at Lowes to replace it. Its been in place a month now, and it is still securely firm. I installed it into regular drywall, not studs. Update: 12 months since the initial installation and this is still secured fast to the wall. This product has made a big difference for my wife. Highly recommended.

> 24 hourOverall a nice piece. Its a little larger than I thought it might be, but certainly less ADA looking than mounting a horizontal 18 bar by the toilet. This uses the Moen connector system to mount through the drywall...I guess its ok but I didnt use it - I did a remodel and knew where it was going and I was putting in new drywall so I put blocking in the wall to screw into directly. PROs - provides a little more stylish look than a normal horizontal grab bar - consolidates the TP holder & grab bar CONs - a little pricey for what it is - an 18 stainless bar is only about $20...this is around $40 - does NOT include stainless steel screws for mounting directly into studs or wall blocking. I had to buy 6 which added about $5 and an extra trip to the hardware store. Annoying with a $40 bar. - the overall size is a little larger than I realized - its about 13 by 8. By comparison, a Moen TP holder from the Preston line is about 6 x 4. - It does not accommodate Mega toilet paper rolls well. They will rub the mounts and the wall until reduced in diameter. - lack of finish options - they should also make one in the mirror image so it can be mounted on the right side with the opening forward. UNDECIDED - Moen includes their own mounting system - designed to go through the drywall I guess...not sure Id trust that. I mounted to blocking inside the wall instead. - Instead of being welded with the escutcheons loosly attached, this uses set screws and a flange on the bars that mount into the screw mount pieces. It is possible this bar *might* loosen over time...you could avoid that by using thread locker on the set screws, but then you risk not being able to disassemble it later if you ever want to. Its probably fine, as long as you know that if it starts to get loose at all, it is time to pull back the escutcheons and tighten those set screws with an allen wrench. (provided) SUMMARY

> 24 hourInstalled left and right versions in different loos. Stainless steel strong. Lower bar retains one roll of Costco-sized Scott toilet paper (merican size!). Can hold a second roll, jammed up against roll #1. If screwing into cheapo toilet furniture, be sure to glue backer board to inside of cabinet. I used polyurethane construction adhesive and a small rectangle of plywood. LOWES and Home Depot sell bits of 1/2 plywood. Toilet Paper Hanger makes a great grab bar, fer YOU OLD PEOPLE! We all gettin old! Install it now, before you need it. Includes long stainless steel screws, SS washes, SS collar, SS cover, and the all-important SS grab bar.

> 24 hourI absolutely love this product. It serves as a toilet paper holder and a grab bar. I had it installed for my elderly mother. It looks much better aesthetically than a traditional grab bar. It is sturdy and the stable. The toilet paper doesnt slide off of the roll at all.

> 24 hourThis was my second purchase for a Toilet paper holder/Stablerizer for my husband. He pulled the other one out of the wall. Great item, definitely worth the price.
